Loved the experience and wished I could do it again. Rafael is so passionate about languages and the school he runs is very successful. I was volunteering with my father and he made sure our stay in Medellin was amazing. From arranging Airbnb to buying us food, Rafael gave us amazing hospitality. The work was fun as well as flexible, and creates real social impact.

Rafael es genial, fué muy bien recibida, hace todo para que todos los voluntarios estemos cómodos, no nos falte nada, hagamos actividades y de más. Lo súper recomiendo, me sentí muy cómoda y libre para realizar salidas también, muy reapetuoso y amable. Volveré en algún momento ya que me quedé con ganas de conocer más la ciudad. Muchas gracias 🙌

Me gusto mucho participar del proyecto de Rafa, el es muy buen anfitrion. Nos recibio super bien, la estadia fue buena y el final tambien. La tarea del voluntariado es ayudar con el contenido para redes sociales de su academia de idiomas, una experiencia super. Gracias Rafa nuevamente por todo, y claro que recomendable para experimentar en Medellin :)

Voluntariar com o Rafael foi muito rico, pude aprender espanhol, praticar inglês e a todos momentos temos muitas trocas culturais. Os horários e tarefas são justos e o Rafael foi extremamente compreensivo e flexível com meus horários de trabalho online, recomendo para quem quer conhecer novas culturas e aproveitar Medellin ao mesmo tempo.

Amazing experience! Rafael is SO open, nice and helpful, he truly loves languages and cultures and makes sure to show volunteers the local (and his own — Venezuelan) culture in the most authentic way. The sessions with Comuna 13 kids are incredibly rewarding and fun, the other tasks I had were online conversation sessions in English and some content creation. Living arrangements are nice, having my own room in a secure neighbourhood of Medellín felt like a luxury. Infinitely grateful!
