My experience in Hedemora was really positive. I had time to connect with myself, enjoy the moment, and take in some amazing views. I met some great volunteers and locals, and I was able to connect with them and learn a lot just by spending time together. One of the best parts for me was the football matches, which happened almost twice a week. I loved playing with both kids and adults — everyone was super friendly and welcoming to me. This experience will stay with me for a long time. It really helped me reflect and set some goals for my future.

Ivan est arrivé dans un environnement totalement nouveau et était ouvert à essayer et à tout expérimenter. Très aimable et détendu, il s'est bien entendu avec tout le monde. Ivan travaillait pendant la journée mais a pris beaucoup d'initiative pour aider, même s'il avait rempli ses heures de bénévolat. Had the most amazing time at the Center this month! The workload was reasonable and at your own pace, which gave us plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and lake. The community made us feel so welcomed from the first day, especially the volunteer coordinator, Kelsey. The other volunteers were also amazing and it was cool to live with people from all over the world. There's always something going on in the community, so we got to try new activities we never would've done otherwise. Highly recommend a workstay at the Center!

Lexi et Dede forment une équipe incroyable, avec tellement de gentillesse et de charisme que l'appartement des bénévoles s'est éclairé pendant leur passage ici. Ils ont donné le ton et les autres bénévoles se sont laissés porter par cette excellente sensation de vivre ensemble. Ils ont été extrêmement fiables, autonomes, dignes de confiance et bien organisés. Leurs personnalités vont nous manquer !

I experienced so many firsts at the Center — my first time volunteering, my first time in a spiritual community, my first time living in a village that feels like a fairytale. I helped in the kitchen, made clay crafts, planted onions, joined a women's circle, saw acro yoga, and paddled a canoe on the lake for the first time and so on. I'm really thankful for this journey and I'll always treasure it. I loved every person in the community —everyone was so kind and warm. I could express my feelings and preferences freely, and I found a rare sense of safety and comfort. I'll miss you all very much.

Lexi and I had the best time in our three weeks at the Center. Kelsey was so welcoming and warm to us, as was the whole community. Even though we were there a short time, I felt like everyone took the chance to get to know us, teach us, and take us under their wing. The town is beautiful, especially in June, and we were lucky enough to get to experience Midsummer with the locals in the most picturesque setting. I had really limited yoga and meditation experience, and Kelsey did such an amazing job of making me feel comfortable and welcomed to participate in any classes! We love you the Center🫶

Dede et Lexi forment un duo incroyable qui crée une ambiance chaleureuse et amicale dont tous les autres bénévoles ont pu profiter :) Ils sont super fiables et Dede a pris DES PHOTOS TRÈS BELLES. Wow. Vraiment impressionnés, car ils ont donné un coup de pouce à nos réseaux sociaux. C'était merveilleux de les accueillir.

Friedhelm was my first Worldpackers experience and exactly the right place for it! My experience in Friedhelm was very, very good. It's just a wonderfully peaceful and warm place. A beautiful place with lots to experience. I received a very warm welcome from Kelsey, the other residents and the other volunteers and felt right at home. I was unfortunately ill at the beginning and everyone was very accommodating!Apart from that, I just had a great time with lots of fun and relaxation. I very much hope to come back one day! Lu a été une vraie battante ! Elle est arrivée malade et est malgré tout sortie pour aider dans le jardin, s'est présentée au cours de yoga et n'a pas manqué tout ce qu'il y avait à vivre. Heureusement, elle s'est rapidement rétablie malgré son enthousiasme à s'impliquer quoi qu'il arrive :) Nous lui souhaitons chaleureusement un bon retour et apprécions tout ce qu'elle a donné et aidé à faire.

The Center is a truly special place and definitely an opportunity worth experiencing! In the few weeks I was there I fell in love with the land and community, and it was hard to say goodbye in the end. There is so much love and supportive energy here <3 You will not be disappointed!

Fue una experiencia totalmente maravillosa! Las personas de la comunidad del centro son epectaculares! Siempre dispuestas a compartir contigo y a enseñarte sobre su cultura. Es un lugar ideal si es que buscas tranquilidad y vivir en comunidad. Brindan una casa para los voluntarios con todo lo necesario para una buena estancia. Lo recomiendo totalmente!!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The location was perfect—quiet and peaceful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an enjoyable getaway. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

Hajar est arrivée avec énergie et enthousiasme, désireuse de faire la différence et de partager ses compétences et son expertise. Elle s'est naturellement engagée dans le village et avec les autres bénévoles. Elle est généreuse, facile à vivre, autonome et pleine de reconnaissance. Nous avons déjà hâte de son retour. Fue una experiencia muy enriquecedora, el lugar era muy acogedor y las personas muy amables. Las tareas dependen de las habilidades de cada voluntario, hay mucha Flexibilidad. El lugar es hermoso, es una comunidad. La habitación es compartida y la cocina tiene todo lo necesario para una buena estancia. Puedes ir al supermercado 1 vez por semana, lavandería y check in/out se pagan al final de la estadía. Lo recomiendo totalmente. 🫶🏼
