I had a great time volunteering at the hostel in Namibia. I met amazing people, made good friends, and had a lot of fun during my stay. The quiz nights were always a highlight and a great way to connect with other travelers. As a social media volunteer, I created videos and content for the hostel while also exploring the area. Volunteers don't have direct access to the hostel's Instagram, so the content is uploaded to shared files for the team to post later. The hostel is great, with a nice pool, delicious meals, and very friendly staff. Thanks for the experience!

Chameleon backpackers n'est pas seulement un Backpackers; c'est vraiment un endroit où les gens se sentent chez eux. Pendant mon temps, j'ai fait beaucoup de nouveaux amis, j'ai vécu des expériences incroyables et j'ai créé beaucoup de souvenirs. J'ai pris le petit-déjeuner chaque matin, ainsi que le dîner quatre fois par semaine (potjie, braai). C'était génial, d'ailleurs. J'ai pu voyager à Swakop pour un week-end, à mes propres frais, mais c'est quelque chose qu'il faut absolument faire ! Merci beaucoup pour l'expérience, Jackie et l'équipe. Beaucoup d'amour

Un endroit parfait pour faire du bénévolat en Namibie. Jackie, la propriétaire, et le reste de l'équipe sont des personnes incroyables, y compris Asme, que je n'ai pas eu l'occasion de rencontrer en personne. L'auberge est un endroit où l'on trouve vraiment de la gentillesse et de la positivité. Je le recommande vivement, que vous cherchiez à faire du bénévolat ou à réserver votre séjour.😊😊😊

Mon temps chez Chameleon a été très bon… l'équipe est incroyable, on ne peut même pas dire combien ils m'ont aidé. J'ai séjourné peu de temps, mais assez pour profiter de mon temps là-bas. L'auberge est celle qu'il faut privilégier à Windhoek, donc je recommande définitivement de faire du bénévolat ici à quiconque. La nuit Braai est la meilleure!!!

Mon expérience dans l'auberge a été incroyable; tous les collaborateurs m'ont accueilli et m'ont fait sentir très bienvenu. Jackie est très attentive aux détails et a une empathie énorme. L'énergie de l'auberge est merveilleuse et j'ai vécu des moments très bons. Au début, je suis resté dans une tente privée très confortable et ensuite je suis passé à une petite chambre privée également; les deux hébergements étaient excellents et m'ont offert beaucoup d'intimité. Le travail est calme et j'ai pu profiter de la ville pendant mon temps libre; j'espère pouvoir revenir dans cet endroit :D

My experience with the hostel could not be better. Jackie is genuinely cares about volunteers, making you feel supoorted and appreciated thoughtout the stay. Super welcoming staff and vert kind, creating a friendly atmosphere. The place is well located and beautiful facilities.

I had a amazing experience in the hostel, everyone is so welcoming! Jackie the owner is an amazing person and the staff is really nice too. I also had the opportunity to go for a tour with them, I really recommend the place to everyone that is looking for this kind of experience! 🥰

One of the best volunteering experiences I've had! Everything went smoothly! The place is great, with a good location, a cozy structure, and an incredibly kind and welcoming team. I had all the support I needed. I spent fun days exchanging experiences with the staff and guests. Jackie is very open to listening, accepting suggestions, and also contributing to us. This is amazing because it creates a great exchange in terms of both the volunteering itself and the overall experience. This way, the work flows much better and becomes even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it!

The hostel is a nice place! I had to leave before the agreement because the schedule wasn't a good match with my remote job, unfortunately. I stayed in a really good tent and after finished my volunteering I choose to stay there for more days. The team is super friendly and welcoming, Jackie is a great person and comprehensive. I do recommend this the hostel for all those how want get to enjoy Windhoek and also i chill experience.

Jackie and the team were very welcoming, and provided great support throughout the whole time I was there. The role allowed me lots of flexibility to get involved with activities and meet locals and guests! The hostel itself is really cosy and social, they provide free breakfast daily and dinner 4 nights a week which is great! There was a lot to do in Windhoek, lots of markets and day trips you can go to, they also have a great shopping centre and outdoor spaces. Would 100% recommend this placement to anyone looking to spend time in Windhoek and explore Namibia!
