Les étudiants de l'école étaient très aimables et accueillants, ainsi que désireux d'apprendre.
Mon séjour a été confortable ; moi et un autre volontaire avons partagé une chambre avec une salle de bains et c'était parfait. Mirijula, la femme de l'hôte, a été le point fort de mon expérience. Une note importante: il n'y a pas de réception / wifi dans la propriété de l'hôte. Aussi j'ai rencontré quelques problèmes avec l'hôte moi-même, toutefois le reste de l'expérience était incroyable et je le recommanderais. Nous avons travaillé environ 5/6 jours par semaine. De plus, l'emplacement est assez isolé et il n'y a pas beaucoup d'opportunités d'explorer ailleurs.

C’est la deuxième fois que je fais du bénévolat à l’école Vidhyalaya, et chaque visite m’apprend quelque chose de nouveau. Entouré par la nature et accueilli par des enfants gentils au grand cœur, l’expérience est toujours rafraîchissante. Je recommande vivement cet endroit à toute personne intéressée par l’enseignement des enfants dans un environnement paisible et inspirant.

J'ai séjourné à Vivekananda Vidyalaya du 25 août au 4 septembre. Bien que je sois arrivé une semaine plus tôt que prévu, M. Nilakanta m'a chaleureusement accueilli, offert un hébergement et confié des tâches significatives.
L'école est une institution de développement communautaire qui promeut l'éducation, la santé et la propreté parmi les étudiants et les villageois. Les étudiants, le personnel, le fondateur et directeur M. Nilakanta, sa femme et son fils Jagmohan ont créé un environnement si chaleureux que je me suis senti profondément lié à eux. J'aimerais revenir bientôt pour contribuer davantage à leur mission.

I had an amazing experience at the school. It is the best place for perfect cultural immersion. The host Nilakanta sir and his family especially his wife treated me very well. The people there were so kind and welcoming. Waking up to the sounds of birds, in a peaceful and calm environment is a beautiful experience. I met so many people here, and I really had a great time. Because of a miscommunication, I got down at the wrong place instead of reaching the host's place, and understanding my situation, the host immediately arranged his friend to pick me up. Overall, it was great.

I had a truly amazing time in Majuli. The people were incredibly sweet and always ready to help. Their warmth and kindness really made it a wholesome experience. I felt like I was at home. The kids in the school were very sweet and eager to learn. The experience of teaching children has taught me a lot about myself too. Every day I used to look forward to go to school. The host Mr. Nilkanta Pegu and his family truly welcoming. They took care of me and treated me like family. I got to experience their festival as well. I have made friends for life.

My time in Majuli was just amazing ! It was my last minute change of plan to come to Mechuka, but it turned out to be the best decision ever ! I got to experience the their tribal culture and tradition in the most authentic way by living with locals ! People are so sweet and friendly, literally every one invited me to their house for dinner and I can't express how kind and sweet they are ! I love my time there and surely I'm going back there to meet my new family. Thanks Nilkantha sir for hosting us so well and wish you all the best for your future endeavours ! You are doing amazing work ❤️

My time at the school was amazing. The place is peaceful with very little pollution, perfect for anyone who wants to experience village life. The students are lovely; they don't speak much English but are eager to learn. The host, Nilakanta, was very supportive. I taught science to the kids and learned a lot from the community. It was a great experience.
