Mon temps avec Jim, Alyssa, Granny Franny, Asher et toute la famille était tout simplement merveilleux. J'ai été accueilli avec tant de chaleur et inclus dans leur vie quotidienne de façon si naturelle que je me suis senti immédiatement en sécurité. Passer presque deux semaines à faire partie de ce camp incroyable, qui apaise l'âme, compte définitivement comme l'une des meilleures expériences que j'ai vécues jusqu'à présent. Tout le monde se traite les uns les autres avec tant de chaleur, d'ouverture et de gentillesse sincère, vraiment spécial ! Le travail est absolument juste et je suis vraiment reconnaissant pour mon temps là-bas. Chaque fois que j'y penserai, il y aura un grand sourire sur mon visage ! :) ☀️

This is by far the coolest volunteering experience I have ever done, definitely apply for this! Granny, Jim, Alyssa and Asher are amazing hosts, lovely human beings and you can learn so much from them about life, nutrition, nature and more. There are so many activities to do at the lodge and in the city, like swimming, kayaking, rollerskating, archery, yoga, tubing and just connecting with nature. Even the work is super diverse from painting canoes to cleaning cabins and fixing docks. I had the best summer the lodge experience ever and will forever be grateful for all the memories I made here!!

If you're reading this unsure whether to apply — hear me out. This is the one and only opportunity I wholeheartedly recommend to absolutely everyone. Not even exaggerating. I mean everyone. Granny, Asher, Alyssa, and Jim are beautiful, grounded human beings who will take care of your soul without even realizing it. They create an environment that feels like home in the most unexpected, healing way. This is the type of experience people need in their lives — not because of the type of work, but because of the kind of connections you'll make and the knowledge you'll gain.

It was a great time and an amazing experience at the lodge Camping! The hosts were always kind and respectful. And I learned a lot on this time about nature, working and nutrition. I'm very grateful for this time!

If you love nature or wanna take a break from citys or just volunteer without reason, don't think it twice, apply for it, they are amazing persons who loves having you, they are incredible chefs that makes you feel like in a 10/10 restaurant, you're gonna enjoy your work around these people and for me I have lots of experience top 3 in my life, thanks a lot again Jim, Alyssa, Granny and Asher

This was my first experience as volunteer. Before begin this adventure, I was so nervous, with a tons of questions, but motivated to do my best. This spot is a magical place, is amazing, with amazing people doing amazing things, could't be better. I am so happy to be part of this family project. Is the best place to be away of your comfort zone. Were four incredible weeks, and it was so sad at the moment to say “bye” . but I'm pretty sure, that, one day, I'll be there again .. So Long ✌️

I really loved this experience at the lodge, this was my first time in Canada and all the people I met there were very cool with me, I could learned many skills that will help me in my dailylife. I am missing the lodge, the beach, the boathouse, (cabin 8 rules,) the building activity and the lodge in Magnetawan. I promisse to get back as soon as possible. Thank you for everything <3

It was the most enjoyable and fulfilling days of my life. The love for family, the philosophy and the management of the lodge are all wonderful. There are a lot of activities such as playing with cute children, kayaking and hiking. It is especially recommended for those who are interested in Vegan or vegan. The beautiful mother and happy grandmother cook very tasty vegan meal. I will definitely come back again. It was really happy days. I couldn't stop crying on the bus on the return way .Thank you so much!!
