I arrived extremely stressed after a long travel day but immediately upon meeting Simona I felt ease. I cannot say good enough things about her. She is so easy & fun to talk to. And truly a pure being. She 100% made sure my stay was great & explained everything very clearly. I watched her children the first 2 days & the cats the entire week of my stay. The kids are super easy and sweet -mostly played on their devices when mom was away haha. And the cats are gentle and super friendly. And max upstairs is so kind!! I took daytrips to Zurich, Baden, & Lucerne which were lovely. Thank you!

J'étais assez nerveux avant d'arriver parce que c'était mon premier voyage en solo et ma première expérience de bénévolat à l'étranger par rapport à mon pays. Mais à mon arrivée, je me suis senti à l'aise. J'ai reçu un accueil chaleureux de Simona, de ses enfants et des deux chats - Badem et Lolo - qui étaient adorables ! Le travail était simple et les heures étaient respectées. J'avais beaucoup de temps libre pour me promener dans le quartier et explorer. J'ai même fait un voyage le week-end à Interlaken et Berne. La famille m'a montré beaucoup de gentillesse et de chaleur. Merci pour cette opportunité et de m'avoir accueilli!

C'était ma première expérience avec Worldpackers et j'ai passé un super moment ! Simona et ses enfants sont si adorables et ils ont été globalement accueillants et m'ont fait me sentir chez moi. Les tâches étaient simples et le quartier était calme et beau. Je recommande pleinement cette expérience de bénévolat ; j'ai passé un merveilleux moment ici :)

This was my first experience with Worldpackers and I couldn't have picked anyone better than Simona. Right away I felt right at home, Simona and her children were the nicest people I've met and it was an incredible experience. Communication was excellent and Simona would always let me know what help was needed that day. Simona also always made sure I was doing okay and had everything I needed. Say yes to everything because you're going to want to experience everything! I recommend this 100%! I had the absolute best time and you will too!

Mes deux mois dans la maison de Simona ont été une période très spéciale pour laquelle je suis extrêmement reconnaissant. J'ai été accueilli chaleureusement dès le début et je me suis senti comme chez moi. J'ai passé beaucoup de temps à jouer avec les enfants et avec le chat et j'ai ri. Isabel me manque; elle venait toujours vers moi pour me montrer le chat Popcorn. Je pense aussi avec beaucoup d'affection à Elaine (7 ans), avec sa grande créativité et ses merveilleux rêves. David reste également dans mon cœur – avec son nœud de judo, ses danses et ses jeux joyeux.

C'était ma première expérience avec Worldpackers, et honnêtement, cela n'aurait pas pu être mieux! On m'a accueilli chaleureusement. Les tâches étaient simples, et chaque fois que quelque chose d'inattendu arrivait, nous le résolvions ensemble. Simona est une personne incroyable : très généreuse, compréhensive et au grand cœur. Chaque fois que j'avais besoin de quelque chose, elle était toujours là pour aider avec patience et flexibilité. J'ai beaucoup appris sur la culture suisse, j'ai pu voyager dans tout le pays et voir encore plus que ce que j'avais prévu. Les enfants sont adorables et faciles à connaître; nous avons joué, ri et passé beaucoup de bons moments ensemble. Je recommande vraiment cette expérience !❤

Volunteering at Simona's home was a truly grounding and heartwarming experience. From day one, I felt safe, welcomed, and free to be myself. Simona is transparent, respectful, and her family has a beautiful energy. Taking care of the kids was easy and enjoyable; they're independent, sweet, and fun to be around. The village of Remetschwil is quiet and surrounded by nature, perfect for those who enjoy a slower pace, and at the same time, it's well-connected.

My experience with Simona and her kids was incredible. I felt really confortable from the beginning, all the hours and days are respected as it says on the app, and one week I even had to change the days that I could work because I had to fly unexpectedly and Simona was really flexible and understanding. The position really says it all, I sometimes cooked, watched for the kids, but most of all was helping around the house with cleaning and making order. I really recommend this volunteering position!

I absolutely loved my time with Simona! From the moment I arrived, she greeted me with warmth and excitement right away at the baggage claim. This comforted all my fears immediately of traveling solo to a new Country. The upstairs apartment was clean, modern, and very spacious - an ideal home away from home. Simona went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and cared for in many ways. I highly recommend spending time with Simona and helping out with her lovely children and beautiful home. It truly was a memorable and heartwarming experience.
