Le wok avec les animaux Ă©tait incroyable. On pouvait voir comment les chiens se sont habituĂ©s Ă vous et ont montrĂ© leur personnalitĂ© envers vous. Et c'est une expĂ©rience vraiment significative. La vie dans le village lui-mĂȘme est trĂšs calme et relaxante. Mais vous devez avoir la peau dure avec Monica.

Voici notre premiĂšre expĂ©rience avec world packers et nous avons passĂ© un bon moment. Les tĂąches Ă©taient telles que dĂ©crites et il Ă©tait agrĂ©able d'interagir avec les chiens. La plupart d'entre eux aiment les gens et sont si heureux lorsqu'on leur accorde de l'attention. Nous avions une cuisine pour cuisiner notre propre nourriture et jouer avec les chiots pendant notre temps libre. Cependant, Monica Ă©tait extrĂȘmement difficile Ă travailler avec. Elle s'attend Ă ce que vous vouliez travailler toute la journĂ©e et ne reconnaĂźt pas la moitiĂ© de votre travail. Elle a dit que nous Ă©tions paresseux et que nous nous plaignions trop, mĂȘme si nous ne l'avons jamais fait. Dawn et le groupe de bĂ©nĂ©voles ont beaucoup aidĂ© Ă rĂ©pondre aux questions.

Le bĂ©nĂ©volat au le refuge a Ă©tĂ© une expĂ©rience personnellement enrichissante. Le travail a Ă©tĂ© aussi dur que prĂ©vu, mais il a aussi Ă©tĂ© trĂšs gratifiant de faire la diffĂ©rence dans la vie de ces chiens. La plupart des chiens Ă©taient vraiment affectueux et adorables. Je les garderai dans mon cĆur. Cependant, Monica n'Ă©tait pas facile Ă travailler. Parfois, elle Ă©tait trĂšs irrespectueuse envers nous. Je sais que cela est en partie dĂ» au stress immense qu'elle ressent en faisant face Ă la charge de travail depuis si longtemps, surtout Ă son Ăąge. Mais cela n'excuse pas son comportement. le le refuge est une bonne option pour les personnes qui travaillent dur et aiment les chiens :)

Salut:) mon expĂ©rience a Ă©tĂ© unique et je peux dire en toute sĂ©curitĂ© que je reviendrai un jour dans le futur. Mettre du travail et de l'amour dans une meute de chiens qui ne veulent recevoir qu'un tout petit peu d'amour Ă©tait exactement ce Ă quoi je m'attendais et je n'ai pas Ă©tĂ© déçue. Le quotidien vous fera consommer Ă©normĂ©ment de nourriture et de friandises) J'ai vraiment apprĂ©ciĂ© cette opportunitĂ©, avec ma belle Ă©quipe <3, je vous aime!! Bien sĂ»r, chaque seconde n'est pas paisible et dans certaines occasions cela peut sembler beaucoup, mais... vous postulez dans un refuge pour chiens, allez! Ce sont des ĂȘtres vivants et ils ont besoin de soins.. Monica cache son bon cĆur.

My time at the the shelter was one full of learning and rewarding experiences. The work itself is tiring, repetitive and can be rather unpleasant. I enjoyed the time I got to spend with the dogs. On the other hand, I found Monica difficult to work with. Unfortunately, I ended my time at the the shelter earlier than planned due to Monica and other incidents that occurred. I felt unprepared for what I was getting myself into. Despite the difficulties, I felt that I learned a lot about myself, my resilience, and Romanian culture. I respect the work Monica does and will cherish the memories made.

Very rewarding work, all of the dogs are wonderful and always so happy to receive belly rubs. The work is pretty easy but you will have to be thorough. Definitely recommend the the shelter, I felt like I made an impact on the animals. It was difficult to leave.. Monica was difficult in the beginning, she is under a lot of stress from many different things. After I learned enough Romanian to understand Monica without always needing a translator, she stopped being difficult. She is a wonderful woman if you just get to know her, but you are going to have to try hard.

I really enjoyed my time at the the shelter. The dogs were amazing and non of them were aggressiv torwards human. I can really recommend this place to anyone who wants to help and enjoyes spending time with dogs.

It was my first experience in a the shelter and most of the things were new to me even though the tasks were easy, but tiring and repetitive sometimes, not to say dirty but it's what you applied for. I can say I managed the workload pretty well. Monica, however, has a bad temper, making it hard to get along with her at times, also the language barrier interferes and doesn't help. Despite this, I definitely enjoyed being surrounded by the animals in a beautiful location and I received lots of love from them.

Whilst staying at the the shelter I had the most amazing time looking after the dogs and spending time with them. It really is a rewarding place to volunteer as you can see the progress made by some of the newer dogs in terms of their confidence. However I would say I had a tricky time with Monica, there was a language barrier which made some things get lost in translation. As well as that she could be quite harsh which was probably brought on by the stress of looking after all the dogs however it meant that it was sometimes very hard to get along. That being said I would hugely recommend staying :)
