Crescent Moon
Crescent Head è un vero paradiso costiero che cattura i sensi e rallegra l'anima. Situato lungo la splendida costa settentrionale dell'Australia, questa destinazione pittoresca offre una combinazione magica di spiagge incontaminate, onde perfette per il surf e un'atmosfera serena che invita alla contemplazione e al relax.
Gudrun, Kevin e un bellissimo kelpie dorato di nome Yuli sono i fondatori di Crescent Moon, una proprietà di 100 acri protetta dall'ambiente sul mare a Crescent Head. Kevin è un falegname e restauratore di antiquariato e Gudrun è un'ex giornalista. Insieme accogliamo fino a 60 persone alla volta nella nostra proprietà: 20 persone nelle tre case in legno oliate e 40 campeggiatori.
Abbiamo un membro permanente dello staff, Darrin, che si prende cura della terra con attenzione e delicatezza, ma per far funzionare Crescent Moon bene, abbiamo bisogno di persone con la stessa mentalità per unirsi al nostro team come custodi della casa e falegnami o artigiane.

I had a great experience working with Gudrun, Kevin and of course Yuli (their super sweet kelpie). The caravan is super cozy and equipped with everything you need. The work itself is diverse which i found quite nice. Most days i would be doing something different; watering, a bit of woodworking, cleaning, raking etc. They were clear on their expectations but were not micromanaging. They gave me the responsibility and let me sort out my hours and were extremely flexible. In terms of location, it's great for nature. If you're a keen surfer you can't beat this spot.

I would definitely recommend the reserve, I'm so grateful for this experience. It is a beautiful part of the world, surrounded by stunning nature with the beach just across the road. Gudrun and Kevin are such welcoming hosts and were very generous. Yulli, their lovely Kelpie is a great companion for walks on the beach! The caravan where you stay is quaint and comfortable. The balance of work and free time suited me perfectly because while I enjoyed putting in the hours in exchange for accommodation, I also valued the time-off as it gave me the chance to explore the area and unwind.
