Offro un ambiente propizio affinché i volontari possano sostenere la mia organizzazione apprendendo di più sulla nostra comunità. Vivo nel più grande quartiere povero d'Africa; questo contesto è già una lezione per i nostri volontari, poiché affronteranno una vita che non hanno mai vissuto prima e ciò avrà un grande impatto sulle loro vite e lascerà loro anche un'esperienza duratura.
Offrirò il supporto necessario nel mio raggio di azione. Durante il periodo di volontariato mi assicurerò che imparino molto dalla comunità portandoli in giro per la zona.

Ali, Irene, Hawa, Lucy, Gaste e tutti gli altri coinvolti nei molti progetti della comunità, ringrazio tutti per avermi accolto nella comunità di Kibera e per farmi sentire importante e parte delle belle cose che la comunità sta facendo. Il lavoro che la comunità svolge è incredibilmente essenziale, e chiunque offra il proprio tempo e cuore alla comunità vedrà quasi certamente cambiare per sempre la propria prospettiva sulla vita.

Volunteering at the community in Kenya through Worldpackers was life-changing. Abdul, Irene, Hawa, the teachers, cooks, and the entire team warmly welcomed me, making my stay unforgettable. The organization's dedication to uplifting the community is inspiring, and every moment spent helping with educational activities, daily tasks, or bonding with the children felt meaningful. Abdul's leadership and the team's kindness created a supportive environment. I highly recommend the community for anyone seeking to contribute to a worthy cause and experience the culture.

Abdul is a true champion. The work he does in the community is incredible and has a huge impact on the lives of local children and girls. Furthermore, he is a great person, super friendly and great to be with. The only point of improvement, but which for me is quite relevant, is about what is expected from a volunteer to do. There is a lack of structure and routine of the daily tasks to be carried out by the volunteer. I believe that by implementing this, the next volunteers will be able to generate a greater impact

When I chose to apply for the community's the community project, I didn't even imagine what I would find here. It has been the most beautiful experience of my life. Abdul is the man with the biggest heart I have ever met in my life. Always ready to take care of you, to think of your safety and well-being first. Every person who works in the community is a blessing from God. Abdul, Irene, Hawa, Lillo, Gaste each one of them has taught me a lot this month. the community welcomes you as if you were one of the family, I felt at home. I am infinitely grateful to them for this experience.

Ali, is like a big brother to those around him. He took excellent care of me and always prioritized my safety while I was volunteering. The kids and people in the community were incredibly friendly, making the experience even more special. Abdul also made sure I was well-fed, which I really appreciated. I gained a deep understanding of the local living conditions and culture, which was truly enriching. There were a variety of activities to get involved, keeping every day engaging and fulfilling. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a meaningful volunteering experience!
