Fantastic experience at the lodge! David, the owner, was so welcoming and really treated us like we were one of the lodge guests. Work we did: painted a building, re-organized a building and storage area, built a path to one of the cabins, made food, helped in organising one of the cabins. Plenty of off time - we were taken into town and went to see a local Expo, went on walks and swam in the lake. We were introduced to some local people and get to experience a bit of the local culture, which was great.

Significa molto sentire parlare del tuo tempo trascorso con noi al lago. Il percorso che hai costruito fino alla baita crea esattamente quel tipo di legame che speriamo - sia letterale che figurativo. Quei pasti condivisi e i momenti di quiete nuotando nel lago diventano spesso i ricordi che restano più a lungo. Grazie per esserti rimboccato le maniche insieme a noi: riorganizzare gli spazi e dipingere non aiuta solo fisicamente, ma porta una nuova energia che gli ospiti sentono quando arrivano.

La mia esperienza è stata positiva. Ho svolto attività di falegnameria, pulizia e costruzione. Il posto è bello, e le strutture durante il mio soggiorno erano confortevoli. Sono stato accolto bene e, nonostante alcuni problemi di comunicazione alla fine, tutto si è risolto. L'alloggio è incredibile, e consiglio l'esperienza. L'alloggio è ancora in sviluppo, quindi chi sceglie di fare volontariato avrà l'opportunità di contribuire e aiutare a costruire la storia di questo luogo.

Startup adventure travel operation in a gorgeous setting. Simple daily chores (washing, cleaning, light work) shouldered with plenty of time for hiking and local contact. Settling is very comfortable and beautiful.

Mi estadía en el alojamiento fue extraordinaria, Diego junto a David unos excelentes anfitriones, en todo momento me hicieron sentir como una más, siempre compartiendo información relevante y fundamental sobre el entorno en el que me encontraba. El ambiente que se vive es de otro mundo, la magia del alojamiento no se puede explicar, es algo que simplemente debes vivir. La vista desde las cabañas es impagable, no hay nada mas lindo que despertarse y ver el hermoso Lago Barroso. Las actividades realizadas siempre fueron sencillas y claras, Diego siempre muy dispuesto a resolver cualquier duda.

Gorgeous location, remote lake at the foot of beautiful mountains, with amazing hikes directly accessible and drives to amazing waterfalls and rivers and glaciers and mountains. We had a car, which made it even easier, but Diego and David provide transportation for the world Packer workers. Since the lodge is not yet open for guest, we stayed in one of the houses, and it was truly amazing. Incredible views.

This location is incredibly gorgeous! We had a car which made it easier to go visit nearby sites. However, Diego has a 4 wheel drive, and is more than willing to show people around. the the lodge is not yet open to guests, so we stayed in one of the cabins. They are beautiful! Diego was out of town for most of our stay, but David the owner, was our main host and he is awesome! He introduced us to neighbors and many friends. We felt truly immersed with the Aysén people and culture. We felt like collaborators with David and he asked for our input on many decisions. Highly recommend

This experience will be amazing and nothing like you would expect. Working with the lodge will take you to their unique location right next to a lake in the beautiful Aysen region in Chile. Your work will be around their sustainable housing options that they offer up to customers. That work will be in the actual housing or around the property. The task will vary but will be clearly explained by the host. When you're not working, you'll experience the culture of the region firsthand, as you will be immersed in it from the beginning and will love it even more with the hosts. Have fun!

Si te gusta la naturaleza, ensuciarte, aprender y llenarte de conocimiento histórico, geográfico y cultural, el alojamiento Patagonía es para ti! 🌎 Estar con Diego como anfitrión fue increíble, es una persona que tiene mucho conocimiento y está dispuesto a compartirlo contigo! Todas las condiciones acordadas y escritas, son cumplidas al 100% con los anfitriones, recomiendo mucho esta experiencia, me voy muy feliz por todo lo que aprendí y la amistad que pude formar 💛 PD: Estar en el alojamiento es vivir todos los climas en un solo día! ☀️❄️ Llevar impermeable y botas es una buena opción

It was my First Worldpackers experience and it was great. The Hotel was not fully operating yet, it was finishing some constructions and had some workers, but nothing that would take away the "magic" of the lodge and the staying. David is a nice owner and cares a lot about the place and the worldpacker. Diego is the man that stay close during the days and he's awesome as well. Always helping and improving our experience. Everyone learned a little bit more of everything about Worldpackers during the days, and it was great to get to know the cabins by the lake and the Aysén Region with them
