Had a good time here, the heat was the biggest problem because there is not much shade. Giorgio made me feel welcome when he was there, but some of the other residents just didn't really talk to the new travellers, so felt a bit isolated at times. There is not much to do at the camp but thankfully there are many beautiful beaches fairly close by.

Overall, I had a great stay in Syracuse and really appreciated the chance to experience the local lifestyle and work along with the community. The tasks were clear and manageable, the schedule was flexible, and the overall setting was very unique. While navigating group dynamics and personal boundaries can sometimes present challenges in shared host environments, I valued the positive moments, the freedom to explore the beautiful surrounding areas, and the connections made along the way. Thank you to the team for the hospitality and for welcoming me into your space!
