Fare volontariato presso Ajito Hostel mi ha avvicinato alla cultura giapponese. Questo è un posto curato con attenzione affinché gli ospiti si sentano benvenuti, siano essi locali o internazionali. L'ostello si trova nell'area perfetta se hai bisogno di riposare dal chiasso della città. Ho davvero apprezzato che offrissero attrezzature sportive e la possibilità di utilizzare la bicicletta per muoversi. Kyoko è una padrona di casa molto gentile che si fida dei suoi volontari per fare tutto intorno all'ostello nel modo perfetto ed è sempre pronta ad aiutare se necessario.

I had a great experience ! I actually ended up not volunteering at the hostel but at a different hostel nearby Okayama, work was super easy and flexible, just assisted with check-in and checkout, helped guests with whatever they needed and collected and folded laundry at the end of the day. The host was friendly and made sure to explain all the tasks and always verified if everything is going well. The accommodation didn't have Ac while the weather was extremely hot but it was a private room so it wasn't that bad. Overall it was nice to volunteer here, I highly recommend it.
