Highly recommended if you are looking to connect with nature and the locals at the same time. My two months here have been wonderful; the place is stunning and Primoz is a great person. I made a lot of friends here. It is important to keep in mind when planning your visit: this is the mountains and wildlife, not a hotel, so amenities are limited—but in my opinion, it's totally worth it. I'm leaving happy to have completed this beautiful adventure. Additional information: There is no internet there, so get a Novotel SIM card. There isn't a shower either, so make sure to bring wet wipes.

From my experience, it's been one of the best stays — not for luxury, but for the connection with the place and its people. Challenging? Yes. The toilet is a four-wall cubicle with a hole on the floor, and there's no shower, though that wasn't a problem for me. A bit more balance in the meals would help. The highlights: the lodge is in an incredible location, with unique views and total tranquility. Caring for Max the cat, time to hike, read, and write, and meeting locals who truly value places like this. Tasks are easy and Primoz is flexible. You can have a really meaningful experience 🙏✨️

I was only there for a short time but if you want to experience a rural life in Bosnia, so close to sarajevo, this is the place. It's a nice area to be in and you'll get the chance to meet international people just as much as you'll meet locals with interesting story's. Perfect place for living a minimalistic lifestyle and just relax and be with yourself :)

It is a very nice and pleasant place. something out of the ordinary. you will feel like in heaven. for the view of the clouds. It can be uncomfortable for some people looking for comfort. It is a dry bath and you have to take great care of the water. If you like to get out of the routine this is for you Primoz is a good person. He looks angry but has a good heart.

It was a very great experience. I was there for 10 days it was great. Lots of hiking and you are spending so much time in nature. There's not much to do during the week so make sure to bring a book and there is no wifi.

Communicating with Primoz was not easy and he never picked me up even after he had agreed to I ended up hiking with all of my luggage which usually takes 3 hours but unfortunately I got lost so it took me 6 When I finally arrived all he said was “who the f#ck are you” Thankfully the rest of my trip was amazing thanks to the other volunteers and the amazing view. I would still recommend going, but be aware that it is a long hike, food is limited, utilities are pretty basic and it's quite isolated so go when there are others volunteering just for comfort and safety. Pls msg if you have any Qs

**SOS** do not come. These other reviews are deceiving and it appears people are afraid to communicate what is actually happening. I've done many off-grid volunteering and it's a shame that this place has such wasted potential. Primioz stopped communication in the middle of making plans to arrive, and I was left to fend for myself to get to the remote location after being promised a ride. No guidance for how to run the busy cafe. Young women there were made to feel unsafe by another volunteer. I left after 2 nights & I had bedbugs the next day, bad local reputation too. Unprofessional, unsafe!

This experience was truly wonderful. Primoz is an amazing person with such a great place up in the lodge, all though it takes some time to get to know him. You get to meet people from Sarajevo and experience their hospitality, always willing to share a story, a smoke or some sweets. Made me feel like I was a guest here in Bosnia even as I served them! The facilities are less the ideal, with a pit toilet but honestly you can't beat the view. No showers except with a bucket but if you can deal with that, this is the place for you.
