I'm really grateful for the time I spent here and for the memories I'll take with me! I loved being surrounded by so many kind and cute animals, especially getting to see how well the horses are cared for and the beautiful life they have. The work was fun, and I really enjoyed getting to know the family and sharing everyday life with them. It was also a great place to practice my German and I'm very appreciative that they welcomed me into their home with open arms.

I'm really happy I got to stay here! The horses and other animals are so well cared for, and it was really nice to be around them every day. The family was incredibly warm and welcoming, and I really enjoyed the meals together and the little moments around the house. I felt very at home here and I'll definitely come back someday🌻🐓🐴 Danke für alles und bis bald! :)

It was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend to anyone out there thinking of applying. Leo and her whole family were so authentically kind and welcoming. They would always include us volunteers in the various activities outside of work (riding horses, meals, board games). As far as the work itself Leo was very fair with the hours and patient with our learning curve. The days went by quickly. The meals were amazing and made with all organic ingredients. They even have their own in house barber with Leo's brother Franz, shoutout Franz for the cut!! Thanks for the great trip!!

I had a wonderful experience with Leo and her family, who made me feel very welcome. Leo is very patient and always listens, it was great to work with her. She always makes sure that there is good communication and that everyone feels at ease. I'm very happy to have been able to take part in this low environmental impact renovation project, I can't wait to see the finished house :) The village and the surrounding area are really beautiful. The farm is charming, and you can enjoy the presence of all the animals. I highly recommend this experience!

Leo and her family welcomed me into their home and made me feel so comfortable, the farm and village is absolutely beautiful, Leo is very clear and helpful with teaching everything and was very understanding when I had to take breaks to treat my diabetes, Leo speaks fantastic English and is very easy to get along with. My only regret was not booking a longer trip!! Can't wait to see the house when it's finished. Prost!

I only spent a week in here, but it was such a wonderful experience. Leo and her family are incredibly welcoming and they treat you as a part of the family. You eat together work together and they were also so kind to show us some lakes around the area. The work is very well explained and fun. It's so nice to see the progress on the house. Thank you so much for being so welcoming! 💞 I would recommend this to anyone that would like to discover the German country side and rest in nature!🌿🐎

My stay with Leo was amazing!! The nicest hosts ever who are very accommodating and respectful. Learnt so much about construction and has so much fun exploring their little farm with the most gorgeous animals. Had delicious lunches as a big family which were always so wholesome. Loved every second and can't recommend enough!!
