Looking for more than just a place to stay? Join our wonderfully busy three-generation family on a small lifestyle block in beautiful Matauri Bay, NZ. Our home is shared with six humans, two dogs, three cats, and a flock of chickens. Every day is different, so we're looking for someone open-minded, hard working, physical, adaptable, and happy to pitch in, learn new skills, and be part of our family adventure.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is physical, hard working, curious, adaptable, and happy to give almost anything a go. No two days are quite the same, and that's exactly how we like it.
Tasks may include:
Gardening, planting, weeding and general outdoor projects
Cleaning and preparing our guest accommodation between visitors
Painting and light maintenance
Helping with landscaping and seasonal jobs
Looking after animals when needed
General household and property tasks
Pitching in wherever an extra pair of hands is needed
We're looking for someone who:
Has an open heart and an open mind
Is self-motivated and happy working independently
Enjoys physical work and being outdoors
Appreciates simple living, creativity, and being part of family life
We like to work Mon-Fri 9-1.
Afternoons and weekends are your free time.
Dinner time is the family meal and if you are home, we like you to be involved. You are welcome to cook for the family of you like cooking.
