My experience at the Center was memorable! Steven and Zouhir were great hosts, always open to new ideas and suggestions. The tasks given were very simple and most part of the time we were free to use our creativity to collaborate with the project. I had a lot of free time to explore the medina and for myself. It was a great opportunity to be part of this project, learning, sharing, and having fun together.

We feel truly lucky to have found a home at the Center! It's a hidden gem in the heart of the medina. Steve really encouraged a communal aspect amongst everyone who was there. We shared meals, went on outings, had movie nights, and even celebrated American Thanksgiving together! Zouhir, the caretaker of the house, is a great source of knowledge about Fes and Moroccan culture. The work was easy and self-directed with lots of room for creativity and new ideas. We helped clean/organize and also paint pots and tiles. Come with an open mind, a community mindset, and a willingness to be creative!

This Worldpackers was my first experience but it was better than I could even expect. The host were super friendly and made me feel like at home. We had a lot of time to explore Fes and created a community family in this magical place! We did nice family trips together and had a lot of time for art projects on the incredible terrace with view over the medina. I would recommend this experience to everyone. It will be more than you can ever expect 🌞 there are even two wonderful cats to cuddle with 🐈⬛!

My experience was absolutely perfect! From start to finish, everything was wonderful. The hosts, Steve and Zouhir, were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel right at home. The house itself was stunning — beautifully decorated, with a cozy atmosphere and charming details that added to the experience. We also had plenty of time to explore the vibrant city of Fes, immersing ourselves in its rich culture. It was truly about sharing moments, living in community, and creating lasting memories. I can't recommend this enough — 100% worth it!

It was a joy to spend time with Steve and Zouhir. They were very easygoing and flexible with timings which allows for a lot of enjoyment of the beautiful house and Fes. They're both fascinating people to get to know and I'm excited to see how their project develops!

I was the first volunteer for this project and I can truly say the experience was amazing! I really recomend this opportunity bc Steve and Zouhir as the coordinators are really really warm, generous, flexible and good people. The task are clear, we work as a team, they are always open to comments or to recommendations, and work schedules are respected. Different activities inside and outside the Dar. Private room. I wish I could stay longer but I will definitely be back to see the finished project.
