Join Our Team: Night Bar & Social Host!
Are you an energetic, outgoing traveler who loves meeting people from all over the world? We’re looking for a friendly volunteer to help host our hostel’s bar and evening activities!
What you’ll be doing:
Host & Bartend: Serve drinks, mix simple cocktails, sell beer, and keep the bar vibes fun and high-energy.
Socialize: Be the face of our hostel at night—chat with guests, make everyone feel welcome, and ensure they have an incredible stay.
Lead the Fun: Help organize and run our evening events, take guests on pub crawls, and lead groups to local after-parties.
Support Guests: Be a go-to person for guest questions and help create a safe, memorable night out for everyone.
Workload: Maximum 5 hours a day, 6 days a week (flexible scheduling).
Evening Events: We run different nightly activities like pub quizzes, pool parties, and group outings.
Flexible Vibe: The work is straightforward and fun! We understand you’re here to explore and enjoy your travels too, so we’re always happy to be flexible with shifts if you need personal time or days off to explore.
To keep our hostel a positive environment for both staff and guests, we expect our volunteers to follow these core guidelines:
1. Be Respectful: Treat fellow team members, guests, and local culture with care and consideration.
2. Friendly & Welcoming: Always maintain a polite, approachable, and positive attitude toward guests.
3. Respect Local Laws: Adhere to local regulations and show respect for the local community at all times.
4. Reliable & Attentive: Listen to task instructions, take responsibility for your shifts, and communicate openly with management.
