I learn a lot about marine life, preservation of corals and diving technics. Espacially if you are a beguiner scuba like me you Will benefit and learn a lot under the wáter with great teachers Every one in the crew made me feel like one more and at home. Each of them show me their world and teach me about life in the project, culture, food, skills under water, anything we come across and shared their personal stories with me. I ended Up my experience so full of love, laughter and gratefull for this oportunity. Cant recomended enough!

Absolutely amazing experience that I will bring with me the rest of my life. This was my first Worldpackers trip and can't wait to go on more. The hosts, guides, instructors, and others we interacted with during the trip were absolutely amazing. What an incredible group of humans who care so passionately about giving everyone the best experience. Their care, willingness to accommodate requests, and communication went above and beyond to make us all feel welcomed and taken care of. I made life long friends and would go out of my way to visit them on future trips.

One of the BEST two weeks I've ever had during my travels!!! An incredible and unique opportunity to dive with impact whilst experiencing the local culture 🪸🤿. This experience, and wisdom the of Mr Fuad, has truely emphasised the importance and beauty of Voluntourism. As for Uchi, Budi, JP, Ihwan and my volunteer buddy Lucy, you feel like family to me and my experience was truely made because of you🩵 This is your sign to DO IT, I cannot recommend this experience more highly!!!

This week long experience was amazing! I got lucky with a great group of people & team members guiding us throughout the week. I fell in love with scuba diving over the course of 4 days thanks to the amazing dive team! Despite struggling at the beginning, I was able to learn not only to successfully dive but also to be able to enjoy it & complete coral restorations & cleaning while diving! I loved all the extra activities we did such as a surf class, a beautiful waterfall, a visit to a traditional village, sasak stick fights, & a fun beachside bonfire/BBQ on the last night!

This trip was incredibly organized and a life milestone for everyone in my group. From start to finish, the project ensured everyone was accounted for and had the best possible experience. There was a perfect blend of structure and serendipitous activities. A special shoutout to Fuad, Andre, Iwan, Eddie, Rozi, and Aby for making us all feel like family.

It's not an understatement to say that this project changed my life for the better. The volunteer work and education is impactful and intentional. The trip organizers and guides feel like family. the project is beautiful and deserves to be explored and restored. Don't overthink this one - do it!

My experience with the project and South oceans the project was amazing. I spent one week in Kuta the project and the program was so organised and structured for me. The hosts really took care of me and ensured my experience was everything I expected it to be. Would recommend anyone looking for a genuine cultural exchange to sign up to this program!

A surreal experience for my first time volunteering! Such a wonderful opportunity to immerse in local life, from staying in a local home to seeing the care Fuad, Mr Budi, JP, Uchi and Ihwan bring to DBS Dive and their coral restoration mission in Sekotong. I felt so welcomed, and everyone was incredibly patient and kind as I learned to dive for the first time. Along the way, I also picked up a little Sasak and learned more about the local culture. So grateful to have met such wonderful people, and highly recommend joining if you'd like to make a difference through coral restoration :)
