We’re looking for a creative, outgoing person to capture hostel life through reels, stories, and photography.
You’ll create at least 3 Reels per week, share daily Stories, and capture social moments, activities, and experiences around Tirana.
Basic filming and editing skills, creativity, and initiative are required.
Working hours are planned around tasks and hostel activities, with a focus on productivity rather than fixed shifts.
5 hours/day, 2 days off/week. Minimum stay 1 month

Daily Activities and responsibilities:
Your main role is to create authentic, engaging content that shows what it’s really like to stay at Balkan Hostel.
Content Creation
Film hostel facilities, rooms, common areas, and details that make our space special.
Capture guests socializing, cooking, playing games, joining activities, and exploring Tirana.
Create content about our location, nearby cafés, attractions, and local experiences.
Look for spontaneous, funny, and relatable hostel moments.
Film short vertical clips (9:16), using different angles and good lighting.
Editing & Publishing
Create and publish at least 3 Instagram Reels per week.
Prepare and share daily Instagram Stories.
Edit videos using CapCut, Instagram Edits, or similar apps.
Add music, captions, and simple transitions when needed.
Organize raw footage and finished content in our shared library.
Creative Planning
Suggest original ideas, trends, and storytelling concepts.
Plan weekly content around hostel activities.
Follow our content guide while bringing your own creativity.
Working Hours & Shifts
You’ll volunteer 5 hours per day, 5 days a week, with 2 days off.
There are no fixed shifts. Working hours will be planned together according to tasks, activities, and content opportunities. Some days may involve more filming, while others focus on editing and preparing content.
We value initiative, consistency, and completed tasks rather than simply filling working hours.
The goal is simple: less advertising, more real experiences, people, and hostel life.

Be proactive, creative, reliable, and consistent with your tasks.
Follow our content guide while bringing your own ideas.
Respect agreed schedules, deadlines, and weekly content goals.
Be flexible with working hours, as activities and filming opportunities vary.
Ask guests for permission before filming or posting them.
Keep all raw footage and edited content organized and accessible to the hostel.
Respect hostel rules, guests, staff, and shared spaces.
Communicate openly about your progress or any difficulties.
We value independence and productivity. You’re expected to take initiative rather than wait for daily instructions.
