There isn't enough space to express how much I loved this experience. I'm truly inspired by the space Pam and Rob have created, and there is so much to learn from them. They respected our agreed working hours, and the tasks were varied and not too demanding. The volunteer area is well equipped. Mill Space is perfect for nature lovers, with plenty of interesting places nearby. Pam and Rob are also happy to arrange lifts to and from town. At times, I felt like part of the family and I would be happy to return because, even in a short time, this place truly felt like a home away from home🥹

I had a great experience here with Pam and Rob! The volunteer tasks were fun, the workload was very fair and they were always conscious not to over work us. Mill space is a very quiet place, so perfect for you if you're looking for time to yourself to recharge, while staying in a homely environment with lovely people. It's also a unique opportunity to learn more about vegetarian cooking, sustainable living and housekeeping. I would definitely recommend and wish them all the best for the future! thank you <3

Hi Jess, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with us, and had fun we were very happy with the tasks you were asked to do. It was a shame you suffered a bit with allergies but you were honest and open with us and communicated this well.

My time at the Center was a valuable experience that will remain unforgettable! I left with a new outlook on life and was lucky enough to take part in the practices. Pam and Rob are special people and warmhearted hosts who go the extra mile to make sure you feel welcome. I reconnected myself on my daily walks with Billy within the mountains :) I met beautiful souls, shared meaningful conversations and meals that were so inspiring and delicious. Rob is truly a talented Chef! There was a constant flow of good energy, the Center feels like one big family I am grateful to have been a part of 💓

Although I only stayed for 12 days, i absolutely LOVED my time here. Pam and Rob were unbelievably kind and helpful. The work was very fair and always communicated well. Their property was so beautiful, lots of time to relax and rest. It was so fun to help cook meals (food was so delicious)!!! Truly a magical place🫶

My friend and I stayed at the Center for a month, and my experience couldn't have been better. Pam and Rob are wonderful hosts, they truly care for their volunteers and made us feel at home. I had lots of fun working in the kitchen and learning amazing new recipes from Rob, and was inspired by Pams presentation in setting up the retreats. They made sure we never felt overworked, and we spent our free time walking up the mountain to watch the sunrise/set, swimming in the lovely natural water pool, and making day trips into town. the Center is a truly beautiful place and I'm already missing it :)

Rob & Pam are caring hosts who gave us a home away from home at the Center. Located in the Spanish mountains, we enjoyed beautiful hikes and could still bike or get rides into Carboneras to enjoy the beach. They happily drove us to bus stops when needed, allowing us to visit Granada and Malaga on our days off. The yoga retreat is lovely, and you can tell how much they care about the place. During retreats, we helped with dinners and cleaning, but never felt overworked. We also got to enjoy a variety of vegetarian dishes thanks to phenomenal chef Rob! We had an amazing time. Thanks Pam & Rob!

Thank you Kara, you were great volunteers and really good in the kitchen assisting Rob as well as preparing the retreat space with me. Im glad you got to do yoga too! We'll send you some recipes and sorry for getting you addicted to English Tea! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us.

Fue una gran experiencia en un espacio mágico y muy tranquilo fuera de los retiros. Pam y Rob son personas respetuosas, trabajadoras y abiertas a enseñar. La comunicación previa fue impecable y nos ayudaron mucho con los traslados. Para futuros voluntarios, la labor es exigente y se centra en housekeeping. Puntos a mejorar la flexibilidad con las horas para salir a explorar y el Wi-Fi es inestable, por lo que se dificulta el trabajo remoto pero llega buena señal generalmente. Fue un lugar hermoso en la naturaleza, genial si vas mentalizado con la carga de trabajo.

Your job description was to clean 1 or 2 rooms a day or light gardening, greet guests occasionally, that’s what you did for 2 hours a day in exchange for the accommodation but we added breakfast & other food bits as a kind gesture.
Room 1 took other volunteers 1hr max . Room 2 ,1.15 max. Rob cleared bins & I brought you the laundry I prepared. Paula’s worked 3.30 until late, so maybe that's why you had less time to explore.

One of my most meaningful Worldpackers experiences. It helped me realize it wasn't the right project for me at that moment, and I'm grateful for that lesson. Pamela and Rob were kind and understanding throughout. Carboneras is beautiful, Playa de los Muertos is just nearby and absolutely worth visiting, and if you have the chance, don't miss the flamenco performances at the castle. A perfect place to enjoy nature, peace, and a slower pace of life.

My experience at the Center was wonderful. I could experience the beauty of the Spanish mountains, learn new healthy recipes, practice Yoga and reconnect myself. Pam and Rob took us to the town (Carboneras) a few times, where you can shop or go for a swim in the sea. The caravan was cozy and we had our own outdoor kitchen (be prepared for a few mosquito and spider encounters ;) ) and its just a short walk to the bathroom. Pam and Rob were kind and welcoming and made sure, that the experience was the best. I'm so thankful for my special time there and will always cherish the memories I made.

We had a wonderful time here. The place is beautiful with lots of character and charm. We loved using the yoga shala in the mornings and going for a swim in the natural pool. The working hours were fair, well-organized, and spread out across the day in small, manageable bits. Most of our work involved cleaning and helping out in the kitchen, which was actually really enjoyable. Rob and Pam are incredibly generous and kind people who genuinely want you to have a good experience. They're easy to talk to, great company, and make the whole stay feel welcoming and relaxed.
