VCV was my first volunteer experience with worldpackers, I stayed for 6 weeks, however, I recommend staying a maximum of two months and must say I couldn't have chosen a better one, since the moment I walked in they welcomed me as part of the family, everyone was so friendly and the classes were so nice, I had to the school to adults online and kids, everyone is so interested about learning which makes the experience so good, Miss Hay is so lovely and generous, she is such a great woman being, will miss vcv crew also Vietnam is such a great country to visit as well I highly recommend this place

I had a great time staying and teaching at VCV! Everyone involved is very welcoming, helpful and keen to get to know you and make you feel settled into life in Hanoi. It's a real opportunity to see what life is like in the city, away from the standard tourist experience, which is what I was hoping for. The teaching side of things is enjoyable and it's insightful and fun to talk to local people and learn about their culture firsthand. I'd definitely recommend volunteering at VCV, thanks for having me!

I loved it! Having to experience the Vietnamese lifestyle, attending a couple of weddings, and having to meet so many locals. From this experience, I have learned a lot and I will want to go back to Vietnam in the future. In the beginning, when they first give you a class to the school is hard, and you kind of need to learn how to the school but once you get the hang of it, it is cool, at least for someone like me without real. I also got to see the north country in my free time which is full of breathtaking landscapes and amazing people.

Jon è fantastico averlo tra noi. È molto socievole, sempre pronto a dare una mano, e rende la giornata di tutti più luminosa. Ci piace molto averlo nel team. Si è davvero immerso nello stile di vita vietnamita, andando perfino a matrimoni e mescolandosi con i locali. Sembra che si sia divertito moltissimo e abbia imparato un sacco di cose. Insegnare è stato un po' complicato all'inizio per lui, ma ha rapidamente assimilato il tutto e lo ha trovato abbastanza interessante. E quando non insegnava, usciva per esplorare i paesaggi mozzafiato e conoscere persone incredibili nel nord. Siamo molto felici di averlo con noi.

I was only at VCV for one month but I had the most incredible experience. Not only did I have the opportunity to the school connect with the students I also met so many amazing other volunteers and formed deep and meaningful connections in a short period of time. Within one day at VCV I already felt included and part of the group :)

An incredible experience. Everyone is really warm and welcoming and you will feel like home only after a couple of days. I loved the fact that VCV organised different events outside of teaching which gave you a chance to get to know students better and explore local culture. You have loads of free time for yourself, exploring city or spending time with other volunteers. I couldn't recommend this enough :)

Abbiamo avuto il piacere di avere Emilija come volontaria con noi per tre mesi, e non potremmo essere più grati per la sua dedizione e il suo duro lavoro. Emilija non è solo molto gentile e responsabile, ma anche incredibilmente adorabile. Nonostante non sia molto loquace, irradia una calda cordialità che fa sì che tutti intorno a lei si sentano a proprio agio e apprezzati. Il suo comportamento amichevole e il suo atteggiamento positivo hanno davvero illuminato il nostro spazio di lavoro. Siamo grati per il suo contributo e le auguriamo tutto il meglio per i suoi futuri progetti.

I stayed at VCV for three months and it was amazing. I learned alot about myself through teaching here and I made some amazing friends. Your work hours are up to 3 hours a day so you have lots of free time :)) I got to explore North Vietnam and treat hanoi as my home. The area you stay in is safe and you live in an apartment. Making connections with the local Vietnamese people and my students was also loads of fun. The whole experience was very positive. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone!

La ringraziamo molto per la sua assistenza dedicata negli ultimi tre mesi. Elizabeth è stata di grande aiuto; è una persona dal cuore molto buono e con una bella anima. La sua pazienza nell'aiutare i bambini nel loro apprendimento è notevole, e la sua dolcezza e cordialità la rendono una gioia da avere intorno. Siamo molto contenti di averla avuta con noi, e abbiamo notato cambiamenti positivi in lei durante il suo tempo qui. Abbiamo anche apprezzato ascoltare le sue intuizioni ed esperienze. Speriamo sinceramente di avere l'opportunità di incontrarla di nuovo in futuro.

This experience is perfect for a month or two! It's a good start for people who want to try out teaching, the students and the staff are really patient. Lesson plans are often provided. The lessons are in the evening, for 1-3 hours a day but usually 1.5 hours per lesson. Both adults and children. The trip to the Da River was one of my best days in Vietnam, so special! And the staff of VCV are great - a special shout-out to Phoenix. She showed us Vietnamese culture and she is a gem of VCV. A wonderful woman. Thank you for the experience.

Teaching the school Vietnam through VCV was an enlightening experience that helped me grow. During my stay, I became more confident and gained new perspectives. I met many students who were eager to learn, and I felt fulfilled knowing that I was making a difference in their lives. Besides teaching, I made good friends through the program. We explored the city together and I felt a sense of community, which was something I missed since moving away from home. I decided to stay for two more months to continue teaching and be part of my students' progress.

Kavin è un volontario gentile e piacevole che porta sempre gioia a chi lo circonda. È stato un piacere avere Kavin a lavorare con noi come volontario, concentrandosi principalmente sul marketing, sebbene abbia anche dato una mano nell\'insegnamento quando ne ha avuto bisogno. Kavin si è adattato rapidamente all\'insegnamento e ha mostrato un miglioramento significativo, essendo proattivo quando gli venivano date indicazioni chiare sui suoi compiti.

I've had the best time at VCV! Ms. Hay and the team are very hospitable and welcoming. The other volunteers were also very friendly, and I've made so many great memories. The location is handy as there are heaps of cafes nearby. You get to meet locals and build connections with students, so you get a good feel for the surrounding the project. The room I shared was quite spacious and the provided meals every day were super delicious. I would highly recommend VCV !!!!

Ci è piaciuto molto avere Sara con noi il mese scorso. Sara, sebbene silenziosa in gruppi più grandi, è una persona adorabile e positiva che brilla nelle conversazioni piccole e personali. Ha mostrato una notevole responsabilità e impegno, abbracciando l'insegnamento con entusiasmo. L'apertura di Sara ai feedback ha portato a notevoli miglioramenti nel suo insegnamento in sole due settimane. Speriamo di avere di nuovo il piacere di lavorare con lei in futuro.
