I had a great time staying with Roswitha and Fridus. I stayed with them while the restaurant was not open, so the main tasks were walking the dogs, helping around in the gallery and some work in the kitchen. The dogs are lovely. They love going on walks and getting attention and pets. Roswitha and Fridus were very welcoming and kind, and we had a dinner together everyday throughout my stay. I had an amazing experience and I w ppl und stay longer if I could.

I am so excited about my trip and my experience at the guest house! Roswitha and Feridus are so cute and I recommend everyone to have this experience, We would walk the dogs in nature, and we would cut wood for the fireplace. Also, we had free time. The volunteers I met were very friendly and had much fun together. Thanks to everyone for this experience. I hope to come back in the summer :)

I am so grateful for this experience! Roswitha and Fridus are such lovely people and very welcoming from the first moment. And also the other volunteers make it such a nice place to stay. The surrounding area is beautiful with a lot of nature and the dogs are so cute. I was there in a season where the restaurant was closed. So the main tasks were walking the dogs, work in the kitchen and other small tasks. The work was never too hard or too much. I would definitely recommend this place. Thank you so much for everything!!

I had such an amazing time here and would recommend this experience to anyone wanting to spend lots of time in nature and love dogs. Roswitha and Fridus were so kind and welcoming and it felt like a home away from home! They also try and make sure there's at least one other volunteer there so you always have someone to work/spend your free time with which was amazing! The restaurant was closed while I was there so the main tasks were walking the dogs and other small tasks around the house. Overall such an amazing experience!

The place is beautiful and peaceful, I did some hiking, mountain trails, and other things. My activities included helping to prepare typical food for Christmas events, on those days there is a little more work, the other days are calmer, such as cleaning, walking the dogs who are beautiful and cute, and also laundry. The hosts are very kind, I spent the end of the year with them and their respective family and friends and I was able to enjoy these days a little as well as learning about Dutch culture as well. Thank you very much because I met some very nice people during the time I was there.

The experience in Bergmansgård was really unforgetable. The snow-covered forest and red cabins look like a fairy tale world, while the rooms are warm and comfortable. The period i stayed there was the restaurant's busiest time of the year, so the main work is in the kitchen as well as some dog walking sometimes.It was a little tired but the good food heals. also I learn to made several swedish dishes. Fridus and Roswitha are very kind and have lots of funny stories to tell. if you love nature,meeting new peoples,or getting new skills and life experience, this is the right place to go!

Fridus and Roswitha are very nice people. Roswitha is a cheerful, kind and easy-going lady. Always has a smile on her face. I also respect her that she is able to stay calm even in very stressful situations. Fridus is also very kind and happy person. He always has many interesting and funny stories to tell to keep the mood up. But the thing, I liked about him the most, was his sense of humor - he always made me smile. They both do their best for you to have the best experience there as possible. I hope I will have the chance to meet them both again (also the cute doggies that they have! :))

I am very grateful of the time I spent there. I met a lot of amazing people. Overall I had a good time, but I had a hard time with the isolation of it a little. But if you are someone who loves nature and connecting with yourself, it is a perfect place to do so. Working could be intense sometimes, mostly around Easter and commutation wasn't always the best. I'm really happy with my experience and am glad I went!

I had a good time here, met some great people and the work was alright. I'm thankful to Rowitha for everything she taught us because it is a stressful job keeping a restaurant open by herself but sometimes the stress had an impact on the atmophere in the restaurant and on all the workers there which was a shame. Other than that I enjoyed staying there, walking the dogs was always fun, I did learn a lot here and I'm greatful to all the wonderful friends I made. I wish Rowitha and Fridus the best, thank you for having us.

I volunteered in Tolvsbo for 4 weeks in December. I was very lucky, because I found a wonderful snowy winter, and walking the dogs in the white woods was a magical experience. Fridus and Roswitha were very welcoming and good teachers, I learned many things in the kitchen, and even though the working hours weren't always respected (in December the restaurant is very busy), they showed a great appreciation for our work. Thank you very much and smaklig måltid!
