Ho avuto un’incredibile esperienza facendo volontariato presso JJ’s Yard, l’ostello! Mi è davvero piaciuto far parte della comunità di Lagos per più di un mese. È stata un’esperienza così speciale, piena di bei ricordi, persone meravigliose e momenti indimenticabili. Jay è un ospite incredibile che mi ha fatto sentire a casa fin dal primo giorno. Non avrei potuto chiedere un’esperienza di volontariato migliore! Mi è piaciuto ogni singolo momento, e non vedo l’ora di tornare il prossimo anno. Grazie, JJ’s Yard, per aver reso così memorabile questo capitolo del mio viaggio! ❤️

LEGENDARIO!! Non solo il lavoro era estremamente ragionevole, sono stato trattato come una famiglia e ho incontrato altri volontari che saranno i miei amici per la vita. Il proprietario, jay, era estremamente disponibile. Mi ha persino procurato altre opportunità di lavoro reali nel caso decidessi di rimanere qui a Lagos permanentemente. Già al terzo giorno conoscevo davvero tanta gente; non mi sono mai annoiato. Bastava lasciare l'ostello per incontrare gli amici e pianificare qualcosa. Adoro assolutamente l'ostello e tornerò la prossima stagione per fare tutto di nuovo. Grazie, jay, per il tempo meraviglioso; porterò Lagos nel mio cuore. Vieni a fare volontariato qui se ami divertirti!!!

Ho trascorso un periodo incredibile facendo volontariato al JJ’s Yard. Il posto mi è sembrato una seconda casa e una grande famiglia. L'atmosfera era sempre calda e accogliente. Ho conosciuto sia i locali sia persone provenienti da tutto il mondo, il che ha reso l'esperienza davvero speciale. Il lavoro era rilassato e ben organizzato, con molto tempo libero per esplorare la bellissima Lagos. Le uscite nei pub sono state molto divertenti! Un enorme ringraziamento a Jay, che era sempre pronto ad aiutare e ha fatto sentire tutti inclusi. Sono stata davvero triste di partire e vorrei davvero tornare un giorno. Se ti piace fare festa e conoscere nuove persone, questo posto è per te! 💘

Such a fun time!!!! I really love everyone i got the chance to meet and engage with, from the local community, other volunteers and the travelers in the hostel. The work was pretty relaxed, and definitely a far trade for what we got as volunteers. It was a 10/10, Pub crawls are great fun, the activities we got to do were amazing, and Jay was welcoming, and warm. I would go back and recommend it to anyone who likes to party 🥳

I had the BEST time at the hostel. Truly the best volunteering experience and Lagos is incredible! I was so sad to leave. The tasks are easy and on the first day you work morning shift with some cleaning, you have the afternoon off and then you work evening and do the pub crawl. Second day you work the afternoon and do check ins. Third day is off and then it repeats. Thank you for everything Jay and see you very very very soon!!😍

I had SUCH an amazing time at the hostel! :) From moment one Jay made me feel so welcome, as did the other volunteers. The work was very chill, lots of free time to enjoy Lagos and the Algarve. The hours are very consistent: day 1 morning shift + pubcrawl, day 2 afternoon reception shift, day 3 off, and then back to day 1. You can ask Jay any question you have. I loved having him as my host. This place and all the people have really grown on me and I was truly sad to leave. I would have extended if I didn't already have other plans. No goodbyes Jay, see you later!! <3

I had a great experience volunteering at JJ's the hostel! Jay was super welcoming and friendly from the beginning. The work was pretty chill and we had enough free time to explore Lagos! Would definitely recommend volunteering here! :)

The stay was good,Lagos is beautiful and Jay's has something unique to offer. Unfortunately my experience wasn't the best but still recommendable.
