Essa foi minha primeira experiência como voluntário, e eu simplesmente adorei. No tempo que passei no BCB, pude conhecer pessoas incríveis e extraordinárias. O trabalho sempre foi como o combinado e por vezes acabávamos antes do horário previsto. Com toda sinceridade, digo que quanto a alimentação sempre nos foi cedida mais que o combinado previamente na WP. Só tenho a agradecer ao Misi, Arthur e ao Jani pela cordialidade com a qual fui recebido e tratado; e à Dayana pela disponibilidade em ajudar e preocupação com meu bem-estar. Espero um dia voltar!!!

It was a good experience, the facilities are quite comfortable, the work almost always gets done quickly, and very little money is spent. Sometimes I felt more like a worker than a volunteer, but it's only a few hours of work, so it's fine for me.

The balance of the experience was certainly positive. I met cool people, I practiced English, I walked around the city and got to know other cities. Daiana, our headcleaner is a good person and does everything she can to help. The food is sufficient and the accommodation is good. Working hours are generally shorter than agreed. The negative points are: you will not feel like you are in a relationship of volunteer & hosts, but rather of a worker & boss. Perhaps because we feel like employees, a sense of community and cooperation is not created between the volunteers.

The experience was great! There are only a few hours of work… our boss Dayana is sweet. Very helpful and helps us with everything she can. The location is very the hostel too. Those were good days!

My stay at the hostel was good, although not what it could have been. The location is really good, it has several pubs and clubs around, it's a very young and artistic neighborhood. It's also practically in the city center. The facilities are comfy and well equipped. The problem was really with the managing. Although the work is fairly " easy "(even if heavy sometimes), we always felt this tension. For many times I didn't feel treated as an adult, but instead, monitored. It just felt that I was there only to work.

The time I spent at CentralBackpackers was really good, I met a lot of people and made a lot of friends! The hostel staff is very respectful of schedules and are always available! Really recomend the experience!!

I like the experience here because the work was easy, but the hostel is not an exciting city because it does not have many activities to do. Despite its lack of vibrant attractions, the hostel does have a few noteworthy landmarks, such as the beautiful Victoria Square and the historic the hostel Cathedral.

El hostal es el más económico de la ciudad, por lo que hay muchas personas que viven ahí de forma permanente. En relación a las tareas, son los voluntarios antiguos los que te enseñan, sin embargo si encuentran algo mal es el mismo dueño el que te dice que los haces pésimo; él no sabe tratar a las personas y te dice que “él es el jefe y nosotros los empleados que hacen limpieza”. Arthur quien está a cargo de los voluntarios no es malo, pero al fin y al cabo los dueños son los que mandan. Lo mejor del hostel son los voluntarios y el buen ambiente!

The schedule for taking care of the volunteering activities is always respected, which allows you to manage your free time with no complications. The meals are truly included, which is awesome for keeping in budget. About the hostel itself, I could not say it's a city I got fond of, however it is a highly photogenic city and I did enjoyed going for a running alongside the canals early mornings.

Hostel is good, provides money to buy food and free breakfast. The other volunteers were very friendly, the receptionist Daiana is a great person. The hostel is very close to the center but the neighborhood is not very nice. I believe that the problem is the volunteer (staff) room, it is very moldy and is located outside the hostel, on cold and rainy days you need to go outside to use the bathroom inside the hostel. I thank you all for the opportunity and for the time I was in the hostel.
