La mia esperienza facendo volontariato nell'ostello è stata incredibilmente speciale. Mickey, Mary e Natsuha sono una famiglia meravigliosa e mi hanno fatto sentire così benvenuto. Fare volontariato qui significa davvero far parte della famiglia dell'ostello, ciò può comportare responsabilità aggiuntive, ma è anche ciò che rende questo posto così speciale. Le due pasti al giorno e la possibilità di praticare snowboard regolarmente rendono facile consigliare questo posto incredibile e non vedo l'ora di tornarci in futuro!

L'esperienza all'ostello è stata la mia prima esperienza Worldpackers, ed è stata davvero incredibile! Gli host, Mickey e Mary, sono incredibilmente gentili e si prendono cura di te dal primo giorno. Hanno anche una bellissima figlia, Natsuha, e un cane adorabile, Chashi — entrambi mi mancano molto. Tutti ti fanno sentire davvero il benvenuto e parte della famiglia. Ho persino potuto andare in un onsen con loro e celebrare il Capodanno in un santuario :D. Il lavoro era equo e gestibile, e avrai molto tempo per praticare lo snowboard o esplorare la zona! Non avrei potuto chiedere una migliore prima esperienza Worldpackers.

Ho trascorso un tempo incredibile nell'ostello! Mary e Mickey (e Natsuha !) sono davvero persone fantastiche che ti faranno sentire il benvenuto e parte di una famiglia. Inoltre, il lavoro è davvero vario e hanno parecchi volontari contemporaneamente, quindi sicuramente non ti annoierai! Puoi anche usare una parte delle loro attrezzature da sci/snowboard, e hanno alcuni skipass stagionali per i volontari in modo che tu possa goderti lo Japow allo Tsugaike resort vicino a casa loro.
In generale, posso solo consigliare l'ostello! Non vedo l'ora di tornare ❤️

Mickey and Mary❤️ Will forever remember them as my second parents… so sweet and warm. I would recommend the hostel to everybody, as long as you are flexible and ready to learn, everything is easy! You get much free time to do snowboarding or skiing or onsen!. 5/5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ already miss them so much💔 Luna and Silke from Denmark!

I had a great experience in Sumer the hostel, I spended the whole winter season there doing snowboard and onsen. I could learn how to snowboard from the zero, they provide the equipment and the snow pass. It's a great opportunity! The work sometimes is not so well divided but is never to much. Totally worth. Marry and Mikey are so nice people and hosts, friends forever.

I have no words to describe how incredible was this place, I love everything about there and it was one of the best experiences of my life! You get to live in this huge house with evertything you need, people go there to stay while they're skiing and you really feel part of the family. Mickey, Mary and Natsuha are incredible people and they open the house for you, they give you food, ski/snowboard pass, equipment, everything you need and the work is basically help them to clean this and two other houses they have. Guys this review is limited but please, just GO! And go hiking too!

I had a wonderful time at the hostel. Mickey and Mary were very hospitable and generous. Tasks given were also very manageable and clearly written down. I spent slightly more than a month here and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to snowboard 2-3 times a week.

My stay at the hostel in Japan was absolutely wonderful! It was not only enjoyable but also incredibly educational. I can confidently say it was the best vacation I've ever had. The hosts, Mary and Mickey, were the sweetest people, and I already miss them dearly. I had an amazing time skiing, which added to the thrill of the trip. The combination of beautiful scenery, great company, and exciting activities made this experience unforgettable. I would highly recommend the hostel to anyone looking for a memorable getaway!

We had a wonderful time at the hostel! The work is reasonable, meals are delicious and my vegetarianism was well accounted for, time to snowboard during free time was plenty and it really just felt like a little family. Mickey and Mary are really generous people and their daughter is really sweet. Would highly recommend this!

I loooooved spending 7 weeks here. It really feels like you become a team and family working together. Mickey, Mary and their daughter are absolute gems to live and work with. The tasks were all clear and laid out, sometimes you need to be flexible. But we got so much time to snowboard and explore Hakuba. Food was also really delicious! But if you don't enjoy cooking or cleaning I wouldn't recommend. Also better if you have a driver's license. Dorms were also nice and cozy.
