Ho trascorso davvero un ottimo momento a pillapalu con Robin e Brigit. Sono molto gentili e accoglienti. Pieni di storie sulla loro vita da viaggiatori. Peccato che non sia riuscito a trascorrere solo una settimana con loro. Il lavoro era divertente e sempre a contatto con la natura. Dovete scoprire quanto è piacevole che profumi la legna appena tagliata e cercare di avvistare tutti gli animali nel lodge.

Il mio tempo con Robin e Birgitte a Pillapalu è stato meraviglioso! La zona è incredibile, circondata da foreste da tutte le parti, che gli host ti invitano a esplorare. Siamo andati a fare una passeggiata tra le foreste e le torbiere circostanti un paio di volte, dove Robin e Birgitte sono felici di raccontarti tutto sulla natura locale e di mostrarti i posti più belli. I compiti che dovevo svolgere erano chiaramente indicati e molto gestibili, e non mi sono mai sentito sotto pressione per lavorare di più o più velocemente; gli host sono sempre stati grati per il lavoro. Si prendono cura eccellentemente dei propri ospiti e mi sono sentito davvero benvenuto durante il soggiorno!

Robin, Birgit e tutte le persone intorno a Pillapalu sono davvero meravigliose, gentili e accoglienti. Il posto è circondato dalla natura e ha un'atmosfera molto speciale, con aria incredibilmente pulita e paesaggi belli. Ma ciò che ho apprezzato di più è il forte senso di comunità che si può sentire lì: divertimento, complicità e una connessione autentica tra le persone. Ho avuto una bellissima esperienza e sono molto grato per il tempo che ho trascorso lì. Lo consiglierei sicuramente!

Tuve una experiencia muy linda en este voluntariado. Birgit y Robin son personas súper amables, respetuosas y generosas. Desde el primer momento me hicieron sentir bienvenida y parte de su hogar. Fue muy especial compartir con ellos momentos tranquilos en la naturaleza, rodeada de verde y también de sus adorables perros, Cookie y Poppy El bosque que rodea su casa parecía sacado de un cuento mágico, con una energía muy especial. El trabajo fue claro y acorde a lo pactado. Me voy agradecida por la experiencia, por las charlas, la confianza y el espacio compartido. Gracias por todo! ❤️

The place is absolutely breathtaking & worth a visit however the tasks were not clear. The hours are clear before hand but the place has a relaxed atmosphere. Two people run this place and tend to have miscommunications with volunteers. I enjoyed my time but it was cut short due to a misunderstanding that was not handled appropriately. Bridgette is incredible but her husband Robin was unprofessional & rude to my co-volunteer. If communication was fixed then it would be the perfect place to work. Sad it didn't work as expected :/

Sì, forse i compiti potrebbero essere più chiari. In tali casi è normale controllare e chiedere chiarimenti piuttosto che presumere qualcosa e commettere errori seri.
Come ricordi bene, tu e la tua co-volontaria avete assunto un lavoro che non vi era stato dato né richiesto.
Quel lavoro ha danneggiato la nostra proprietà e ci è costato più di 250 euro.
Era giusto chiedere chiarimenti su come è successo quell'errore.
Invece di scusarti o spiegare qualcosa, tu e la tua co-volontaria avete deciso di fare le valigie e partire di nascosto senza nemmeno dire arrivederci (o pulire le vostre camere).
A nostro avviso, ciò è piuttosto scortese e offensivo nei confronti degli host che hanno aperto la loro casa e offerto ospitalità, buon cibo, ecc.
Come consiglio per il futuro, quando ti offri di aiutare nella casa di qualcuno, cerca di seguire le loro regole.

This was my perfect work exchange. Robin and Birgit make you feel so welcome at their home and into their daily lives. My room was comfy and warm. They let me choose where in the house i wanted to paint and were really encouraging for whatever i wanted to do, plus they gave me lots of time to get inspiration. There were other things to help out with, like garden bits and their business, which was interesting to learn from. They also gave opportunities to go on walks to show you more of the area, and gave me time to explore in Tallinn on my own. Couldn't recommend enough to other artists!

This was my second time volunteering with Worldpackers, and it was a fantastic experience. Robin and Birgit are wonderful people with lots of stories and experience to share. They even took the time to show us around and do some fun activities. We also got to meet other workers who were all amazing and passionate about their work. The place is incredible, surrounded by nature and a deep sense of peace and calm. The task weren't hard, we mainly did cleaning, walked their two adorable dogs, did some labeling and worked in the garden. Thank you again for the wonderful experience <3

It was an amazing volunteering experience. I was able to relax and get inspiration from the lodge to do beautiful art. Birgit and Robin are awesome hosts. This has been the first volunteering experience where I have felt like home. It really felt like family! It was great to come together during lunch and dinner time sharing interesting conversations and in addition, we had the chance to experience Estonian culture and lifestyle at all times. Also, I and the volunteers had so much fun learning new skills and exploring together Estonia. Thank you so much! I will miss everyone.

My one-week stay with Robin and Birgit was unforgettable. I enjoyed every single day of my volunteer experience and recommend to those looking for contact with nature, animals. My primary task was to build a platform for Cookie and Poppy, their lovely dogs, to play. I also helped Robin with packaging and labeling of his products. We had great conversations and I learned a lot about Estonia. Biking to the nearest grocery store in Aegviidu takes about 40 min. Train to Tallin around 50 minutes. My room was very comfortable and the food, delicious. Could not have asked for better hosts! Thank u!

My experience at the lodge has been an absolute disconnection and relaxation, the place in the middle of the lodge surrounded by nature. The chores were not very difficult from cleaning, organizing and walking with Popi and kuki who are very adorable. Robin and his family are very friendly and help you with anything you need.

Pillapalu non è mai stato così pulito! Poppy e Cookie sono stati molto fortunati ad averti al loro fianco... più passeggiate del solito, senza dubbio. Grazie per tutto il tuo aiuto :)
