Renato è molto gentile e flessibile, l'ostello è comodo, molto ben posizionato e incredibilmente pulito. Il lavoro è semplice e gli orari sono sempre stati rispettati. È stata la mia prima esperienza con Worldpackers e senza indugio la rifarei.

Il lavoro è stato molto divertente ed è una grande opportunità per restare attivo.💪Tutto è sempre andato secondo i piani. Ogni volta che avevo domande o avevo bisogno di aiuto, tutti erano sempre pronti ad aiutare. Mi sono sentito molto a mio agio. Tomar è una grande città con tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno ed è sempre degna di una visita. Raccomando vivamente di lavorare qui. Un grande vantaggio se ti piace bere caffè. ;D Grazie per tutto! Ero molto emozionata all'idea di vivere la mia prima esperienza di volontariato, ma non è durata a lungo. La colazione era un completo disastro e i compiti che dovevo svolgere erano esagerati, poiché toccava fare il 100% della pulizia di un grande ostello. Quando ho deciso di lasciare il posto, l'ospite si è arrabbiato, mi ha urlato contro, non mi ha lasciato parlare, mi ha insultato e, in più, ha minacciato di denunciarmi all'Unione Europea dicendomi che dovevo tornare subito nel mio paese, e poi mi ha riattaccato. Non lo consiglio. Inoltre parlavano solo con me per dirmi quali erano i compiti che dovevo fare.

È stata la mia prima esperienza Worldpackers, non avrei potuto desiderare un posto migliore per iniziare! Fin dal primo giorno sono stato accolto in modo molto amichevole e ho trovato un'atmosfera molto rilassata e tranquilla durante tutto il soggiorno. Mi sono sentito molto incluso come parte della squadra. Tomar, essendo una città calma e dal ritmo lento, sembrava comunque vivace con alcuni turisti e pellegrini che passavano. Molti posti per escursioni intorno a parchi, fiumi e campagna da esplorare durante il tempo libero abbondante. Sicuramente sento che tornerei per un altro giro e lo consiglierei ad altri.

Mi è piaciuto molto fare volontariato a Tomar. I miei compagni di volontariato sono stati super gentili e flessibili fin dall'inizio. Le attività di pulizia non sono difficili e ti danno molto tempo libero per esplorare. Sono riuscito a viaggiare per il Portogallo e a visitare altre città. Mi sono anche immerso nella cultura locale di Tomar, una città che ha molto da offrire, dalle proposte culturali alla natura e ai musei. Ho trovato una città che accoglie gli stranieri a braccia aperte. Questa è stata la mia prima esperienza di volontariato e ha decisamente alzato l'asticella. La consiglierei al 100%.

My experience was simply flawless: from the work hours/load to the city itself. The hostel is kept very well and what you're required to do is absolutely well balanced considering that you get a free stay. It was my first worldpackers experience ever and I believe I couldn't have gotten any luckier! The staff was always very nice to me (so grateful to carlos, renato and alexandra!!) and helped me a lot the first few days when I was still a bit disoriented. Tomar has everything you need: shops, restaurants, a train/bus station from which you can go almost anywhere in Portugal, and just the plac

Overall, definitely recommend! The hours were super manageable & the city had a fun medieval feel. Hostel: You get a bed in a shared space & the bunks don't have dividers. The WiFi was a bit spotty, but so long as you take a bunk by the door you're good. The free laundry and kitchen usages were huge pluses. Bring earplugs, nearby restaurant loud Job: You're basically a janitor. Clean bathrooms, remake beds, that's it. I almost always got out early and that was completely fine with staff. Advice: be flexible. I was moved twice during my stay, but the boss was flexible in return w/ time off.

It has been absolute my pleasure to volunteer here for 1 month. Thank you for having me Renato, Sonia, Carlos, Alexandra, and Natalla. Workload is not heavy, and most of the times we finished within 2~3 hours. Most of the guests are pilgrims of El Camino de Santiago, so they stay here only 1 day, therefore it's a bit different atmosphere (guests age range, early riser, quiet night etc). For me it was perfect, as that's what I was looking for. Even their stay is usually short, I still met and made friends with a lot of great people from all over the world. Hope to come back here one day.😊

Very nice experience at Tomar with Renato and the team! Confortable and clean hostel, the tasks were very simple and some days were just a few because of the start of the low season of tourists. I totally recomended this experience. Obrigado!!

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I had an amazing stay in Tomar! The staff is so welcoming and really make you feel at home! The work is easy and as described. Tomar is a very cute, small medieval town with lots of cafes and restaurants. The hours make it possible to do some nearby day trips as well as going to explore further places in Portugal on your days off! Big thanks to Sónia, Renato, Carlos, and Alexandra! ❤️
