I... have no words to describe my experience at Sagesfield. I met amazing people, had time to reflect on some things in my life and rest, as well as to spend time with other volunteers and connect. I recommend this stay from with my whole heart. Will be missing you! 🫶

It was wonderful to be part of the Center's team. I had an amazing experience, filled with fun and wholesome moments. Everyone is super friendly, welcoming and caring. As my goal is to learn German, Azis made sure my tasks were helping in the kitchen and service, to be immersed in the language. I am extremely thankful for the opportunity ! The workload can be sometimes a little much but the peaceful environnement makes up for it. I was lucky to discover a new way of life, with vegetarian food, yoga, evenings around the bonfire, sauna, cycling in the woods… and fun German classes :p

The place is beautiful, the food is amazing, and the employees are wonderful and respectful. I had great connection with nature, did lots of yoga (including as an instructor!), enjoyed the area and did different kind of jobs like garden maintenance, housekeeping, and kitchen. The other packers I met made my stay better and I'm going to miss the bonfire with some hot wine and the fun German classes. The place is so beautiful that I want to return in a different season, maybe in the summer, or spring. I learnt a lot, I truly did. Thank you for challenging me to do some different kind of jobs.

It was my first volunteer experience with this platform. I think it was a nice experience, an opportunity to get away from the crush and find some silence and relaxation in an isolated place. I worked mainly in house keeping in the morning and in the afternoon I had time to myself to rest or do things. There isn't much nearby but you can explore. I then took part in the German lessons on Saturdays and they were very good and the professor was very good. The team was welcoming and available for discussion in case of problems!

This was my third volunteer and by far the best, the team at the Center was always very friendly and helpful, I had the chance to learn yoga, vegetarian food and nature, I will come back for sure.

I had a good time overall. It's in a quiet village with mostly nothing around except nice roads and paths through fields and forest. The work is okay but not that fun, especially when there's less volunteers as there's more work to do. The hotel needs to hire more employees. The owner should put more effort into connecting with the volunteers. The staff isn't interested in the Center/yoga which was disappointing. A couple of the staff didn't seem interested in talking or connecting with me and gave bad vibes, but of course all the volunteers were awesome.

The Center is a beautiful place, but quite remote so you won't be able to access much without using a bike. The work can be tough at times (6am starts), so I'd make your needs known early on. The staff are great, but communication could be better. Overall I had a great time though, and connected with nature and the other volunteers - so thank you!!

My goals were to improve my German, learn new skills, and meet new people. I achieved these at the Center, with help from the staff and the German lessons provided. The work is tiring and long and you will do various tasks, including housekeeping, service, kitchen, handiwork, and more. I also helped out at the Kartoffel Hotel. The nature surrounding the Center is peaceful and accessible by bike. As well as bike rentals, the hotel provides communal facilities the Center classes. I recommend this place to anyone committed to improving their German language and their hotel service skills. Thanks :)

This was my very first Worldpackers experience and I ended up being very satisfied. During the time I spent there, I felt as if I was isolated from the whole world and enjoyed the time. The food is delicious (potato lovers will especially like it). It is definitely worth making your needs known, sometimes the workload can be a bit exhausting but regardless there is free time to enjoy the place and make connections with people from different cultures. Thanks to everyone with whom we had beautiful moments.
