Johannes ed io abbiamo avuto una grande esperienza presso la fattoria Akasha e consigliamo decisamente questo posto. Tyler e sua moglie Lucinda sono stati due persone molto calorose e aperte di mente. Le ore e i compiti sono stati comunicati chiaramente. Tyler e sua moglie ci hanno anche invitato diverse volte a cena, escursioni, ecc. Assicurati solo di comunicare chiaramente ciò di cui hai bisogno per i pasti. Ci siamo davvero goduti il nostro tempo e Odin ci manca ancora entrambi!

The Gray family is a very friendly, trustworthy and committed. I enjoyed my stay so well and was able to learn and benefit a lot from the tasks and work I did. I was able to see and visit the nature and the coast, which is not far away and easy to get with bus. The big city Vancouver is close aswell. If you search a Host and Property in nature, peace and silence you are on the right place, sourounded with good people, varied work and animals like dog and chickens. I wanna thank the Gray family so much and I am greatful for the trust and time.

All in all, my friend Leni and I had an amazing time at the Sunshine Coast. The farm is beautifully located in nature. The working experience was fine. Working hours were respected and the tasks were easily done. However, there have been some communication issues. Our stay would have been better if rules, boundaries and expectations had been stated clearly at the beginning of our stay. The RV we lived in is a bit run down compared to the photos, but Tyler tried to improve the experience by initiating reparations. Thank you for inviting us over to some amazing dinners and thanks for the stay!

Grazie per essere stati con noi. La sola volta in cui Kat ci ha portato un problema è stata riguardo al cambiamento delle sue ore di inizio. Abbiamo rispettato la sua richiesta di dare il preavviso più lungo possibile. Il secondo giorno siamo tornati a casa e abbiamo trovato 4 volontari che cucinavano nella nostra cucina senza il nostro consenso o conoscenza. I volontari hanno le proprie strutture per cucinare, oppure cuciniamo per loro (cosa che abbiamo fatto molte volte) e li invitiamo a unirsi alla nostra famiglia per la cena. I nostri volontari esistenti lo sapevano, quindi abbiamo chiarito delicatamente questo per Kat e Leni :-)

Take a break from the city noise and reconnect with yourself. The farm location is superb. You are in nature but 10 minutes away from town, and just 5 minutes away from the beach and nearby stores. Work is fair and working hours are respected. Tyler, Lucinda and their kids are a beautiful family and they will sometimes take you over for delicious meals, and wonderful adventures. You will get a cozy and private place by the creek with relaxing nature sounds to spend the best nights you didn't know you needed. I would definitely recommend this place.

Tyler and Lucinda were great hosts during my few weeks at the farm Farms. From living a sustainable and healthy lifestyle to animal keeping and building & construction, I learned a good deal. Everyone was very helpful and cooperative. There was always something to do and they also had me over for dinner. Thanks again for inviting me to the farm. Wishing you the best with it (and Lucinda with Alchemy of Women) See you in a few months :)

This experience was amazing! Tyler and his family were kind and really respectful. I improved a lot my English vocabulary about farm and housekeeping stuff. This place is perfect if you wanna improve your English, connect with nature and learn about farm lifestyle! You will have a private space for you which is totally comfy and organic food. Also, there's a beach near the farm, and I'm sure you'd love the sunset there, because it was incredible! I totally recommend this place!

I had a fantastic experience at the farm! I'm really grateful for being there! Tyler and his family were always respectful, and nice. The work is intense but the energy of the place and the family always made everything easier. I totally recommend it, I went with Valeska, my fiancée, and they assigned proportional tasks based on our skills. The place is very well located so we met beaches, parks and beautiful landscapes. If you want to recharge with good energy, learn about sustainability, and have a private space to work online, it's the perfect place!

I had a great stay at the farm. Tyler and his family are lovely and the place is amazing in the middle of the forest. The beach is a 15min walk away and it is the perfect place to see the whales breathing and seals. Exploring the Sunshine Coast is easy with the bus that can be caught at the end of the street. You will have a great time for sure. Thanks Tyler!
