È stata la mia prima esperienza di volontariato, e ho davvero apprezzato tutto nel complesso. L'ospitalità dei Beduini è semplicemente straordinaria; ti fanno davvero sentire come se fossi a casa. Sono aperti a socializzare con gli stranieri, il che rende tutto molto più facile. Raed e la sua famiglia ti aiutano a vivere la vita beduina per quanto possano. Ho avuto la possibilità di partecipare a due matrimoni beduini, di allevarne pecore, provare cibi e bevande diverse come il latte di cammello, di vivere in campeggio nel deserto, di fare escursioni in montagna, di assistere a corse di cammelli, di fare safari, ecc., grazie a loro. I compiti non sono stati così difficili e ho avuto molti giorni liberi.

Ho trascorso un periodo indimenticabile nel camping. Sono stato calorosamente accolto e persino invitato a due matrimoni beduini tradizionali. il camping è tranquillo, con viste incredibili sul deserto, falò, chiacchiere e autentico tè beduino. I compiti di volontariato sono facili (fino a 3 ore al giorno), lasciando molto tempo libero. La parte migliore è stata unirsi alla loro iniziativa ambientale, raccogliendo i rifiuti lasciati dai turisti nel deserto. Mi è stato conferito un certificato per questo lavoro volontario extra. Sono davvero grato!

I had an amazing experience living with the Bedouin brothers, they made me a part of their family quickly, the tasks were simple, and if you have any doubt they can help you to say what to do. You gonna find people from everywhere, and immerse in a Bedouin life in beautiful wadi rum desert. At nights you seat front of fire looking the amazing sky full of stars. I'm just thankful for the time I had there, hope find them again someday, for sure I'll never forget the moments in the camping

I don't have enough words to thank this guys for everything. I will miss everyone and everything we did, the food, playing Uno with the guests, dancing every night, taking care of the camels, the riddles. It was amazing. They make you feel like home. If you have any doubt or questions, they will tell you what and how to do it, the tasks were not hard at all and you have plenty of free time during the day and in the evening you get to prepare everything for the guests arrival and enjoy the night with this amazing brothers. I will definitely come back in the future. شكراً

Had a great time at the camping for 2 weeks, Raed and all his family were very welcoming and friendly. The area is beautiful, life in the camping is very relaxed, the food was delicious and tasks were simple and easy. Lots of people come through the camping every few days so it's easy to meet people from all over the world. Highly recommend

È fantastico sapere che hai passato un periodo incredibile al campeggio! E non mi far partire con i paesaggi mozzafiato e l'atmosfera rilassata. È come un mondo completamente diverso laggiù!
Siamo felici di sentire che ti è piaciuto il cibo - anche lui è sicuramente uno dei nostri punti di forza! E siamo contenti che i compiti siano stati facili per te. Dopo tutto, vogliamo che i nostri volontari si divertano e si godano il momento.
E hai assolutamente ragione sulle persone che passano dal campo - è come un piccolo melting pot di culture ed esperienze. Ci piace proprio questo.

This was my first Worldpackers experience and it was absolutely amazing! Upon arriving, I was immediately welcomed and treated like family by Raed and his brothers. The work is straightforward and simple so there is quite a lot of downtime for me to explore and take in the beauty of the desert. Working here also gave me an opportunity to interact and build relationships with the locals as well as travellers from all over the world. Thank you Raed!

I spent two weeks inthe the camping. Since when I am arrived they make me feel part of the family. The work is not hard, and you have time to chill, relax and explore the desert. During the night there are usually many tourists, and we spent the evenigs all together playing cards around the fire, dancing beduin typical dances and watching the stars. During my volunteering I also joined a jeep tour and I went to watch a Camel race. I can say itn was the best experience I had in Jordan! Thank you again Raead and to all of your family!

È così fantastico sapere che hai trascorso un tempo incredibile nel nostro campo. Ci è piaciuto averti qui e sei diventato davvero parte della nostra famiglia. Sono contento che tu abbia trovato il lavoro facile; cerchiamo di renderlo il più rilassato possibile in modo che i nostri volontari abbiano anche tempo di esplorare e rilassarsi nel deserto.
Le nostre attività serali sono sempre al top, giusto? Ballare e giocare a carte intorno al fuoco, guardare le stelle, è davvero un'atmosfera.
Sono felice che tu abbia avuto la possibilità di sperimentare un po' di cultura beduina e spero che tu abbia qualche passo nuovo da mostrare al tuo ritorno a casa.
E i tour in jeep e le gare di cammelli? Sì, certo, è proprio di quello di cui sto parlando!

I had the best time volunteering with the guys at Wadi Rum! Raed and his brothers were so lovely and hospitable - we had delicious meals provided every day and a comfy bed to sleep in. The work was easily manageable and I got to join a jeep tour of the desert and sleep under the stars. Shukran Raed for an amazing experience!

I really love the way that the Bedouins live and share their experience. They really love people and Raed show me so much of himself and his family. I really enjoyed my staying and working with him,getting wood for the fire and having great an amazing nights with the guests under the Stars!! 💙️ Thanks for everything Raed!
