I had a great time at the farm! i learned a lot from Flo, he is an excellent permaculture farmer with a lot of knowledge! The farm and landscape are beautifull. The work was nice and Flo was flexible about the tasks.

I had a great time at the project TPP, I didn't have any experience before volunteering here. Flo was a great teacher, very patient and super passionate about what he was doing. My time was split 50/50 doing farming and content which I enjoyed and we got lots done which was great! In the evenings/weekends, we would go on sunset walks and game drives (even got to see some Zebras). This is a super beautiful and very unique place, I enjoyed the free time soaking up nature and landscape. Flo was super easy to get on with and I would recommend this to anyone.

Amazing opportunity to spend time in nature and learn about permaculture! Living at a desert was a great experience that helped me expand my knowledge of sustainability for which I am very grateful. Sadly, Flo (the host) made my time at the farm quite hard. His way of being, especially communication style and limited flexibility made it hard for us to cooperate.

Grazie per la tua recensione. Sono molto felice che tu abbia apprezzato la fattoria e tutto quello che il progetto ha da offrire. Per favore capisci che si tratta di uno scambio e non di un servizio in quanto non ci sono tariffe coinvolte. Per me (Flo) e per il progetto è molto importante che lo scambio abbia senso in termini di dare e prendere. Quando riceviamo volontari come te che fanno il minimo indispensabile e allo stesso tempo sprecano e danneggiano i nostri materiali essendo negligenti e causando ritardi di 3 settimane, è probabile che il tuo host non sia molto contento.
Nel tuo secondo giorno mi sono offerta di riaccompagnarti e di terminare la tua esperienza, poiché sapevo già che avremmo avuto una corsa burrascosa. Hai scelto di restare e utilizzare le nostre strutture.
Inoltre, per quanto riguarda la mia flessibilità. Nel nostro profilo diciamo che devi essere in grado di provvedere a te stesso e non dipendere da noi per rendere la tua esperienza piacevole. Aiuto a gestire e mantenere una massiccia fattoria con personale, bestiame e turisti. Questa operazione richiede struttura e quindi non posso passare tutto il giorno con i volontari. Detto questo, amo trascorrere del tempo con i volontari che si integrano e mostrano interesse e iniziativa come Fynn e la sua famiglia che ci hanno visitato durante il tuo soggiorno qui. Vedrai anche che hanno lasciato recensioni incredibili sui social media.
A parte tutto ciò, mi scuso per averti fatto passare una brutta situazione. Ti auguro tutto il meglio per il futuro e una vita luminosa piena di gioia.

This volunteering has been a good learning opportunity, I was able to expand my knowledge of farm life in such a climate and learn what type of plants are able to live in the desert. It gave me the opportunity to help the environment by cleaning the desert, also making some grow beds and planting trees.

I had a really indescribable time on the Farm together with Flo ! Most of the time we worked together on things in the new house or on the farm and Flo shared his diverse knowledge with me. In my free time I could look at everything closely, hike, watch animals, cook with Flo, play Uno, learn ukulele, cuddle and play with the dogs, feed fish and most important have a great time ! Flo is super sociable and my stay was more than positive !

Incredible experience in the middle of the Namibian desert. Florian is passionate about permaculture and he knows how to transmit his knowledge and his passion. I recommend it to all those who want to be in contact with nature and leave an impact for the future.
