Surf and the surf camp is a fantastic family of people. They care for the volunteers and guests with love and kindness. I leart so much as a yoga teacher with a wide variety of classes to provide to different levels of ability. Its a great location as its peaceful and you can feel nature but only 10 minute scooter to the sea. A great way to grow your teaching experience and meet wonderful people on the way. I recommend with all my heart.

I spent time at Surf and Yoga Canggu as a yoga teacher volunteer and it was one of the most special experiences of my life. The Indonesian staff, Kadek, Wayan, Tini and Atre, were just incredible and made me feel like family from day one. Leslie, one of the owners, was equally lovely. I felt so lucky and privileged to live and work in that space. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience volunteering as a yoga teacher at Surf & Yoga. The place is beautiful, the food is incredible, and the local team makes you feel like family from day one. Everything is well organized and they truly respect your schedule, so you still have time to enjoy the island. As a teacher, I loved having the freedom to try new things and grow my skills in a supportive environment. I genuinely recommend this place to anyone looking for a meaningful and well-balanced volunteer experience.

I highly recommend this experience. Not only the place is stunning, peaceful and conveniently located, but the staff and the guests are the real highlight. I truly feel blessed with a balinese family, got a hold of the local lifestyle, and got to da lot of activities in the retreat as cooking classes, indonesian lessons and learn how to make balinese offerings. Also took my first surfing lessons here and I cannot recommend enough as you also get to bond deeper with the guests that come for that (in approx 5 lesson people get upgraded to intermediate to try to catch the waves on your own).

My experience was truly excellent. The place itself is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for anyone looking to slow down and connect with like-minded people. The food is amazing, the program is well-organized, and the overall vibe is super nice. But the best part of this experience is without a doubt the people who work there - incredibly kind, generous, and genuinely caring. They make you feel at home from the very first day, take care of you in every way, and share so much of their culture and warmth. I'm grateful for my time here, and I would recommend this place to absolutely everyone.

This was one of the yoga teaching exchanges that I've done so far! The place is absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful, the guests were all so great to connect and interact with, and Dian and all of the rest of the staff made me feel so at home ❤️ I would highly recommend this experience and look forward to going back in the future!

A beautiful homely stay in a quiet escape outside of canggu. A spiritual haven with beautiful workshops, yoga, meditation and surf. Wonderful meals/food by the lovely cooks. Usually I take a bit of time to settle in a place but I felt immediately cared for and looked after in this place.

I had an amazing experience working as a chef with the Surf and Yoga family! Dian and Atre were fantastic to work with, and the other chefs in the kitchen felt like big sisters—full of warmth, humor, and always ready to help and support you. You'll be embraced by their motherly love and joyful energy. The place is beautiful, and I shared unforgettable moments with the other volunteers—an experience that truly changed me and helped me find new, genuine friendships. See you soon!
