It was my first volunteering and I had the best experience, the place is beautiful, right in front of the beach, with a lot of nature and a fantastic view of Etna. Margherita is very nice, she made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout my stay, the tasks were clear, basically cleaning, gardening and walking Dudu, that I enjoyed a lot, and the hours were respected. I also had a tamburello and tarantella class that were very fun, and I have been invited to some lovely meals with local friends. I highly recommend this great experience and hope to come back again.

Per me questa esperienza è stata incredibile! Marguerita è una persona bellissima, sempre attenta e preoccupata che stesse bene, il posto è molto bello con il mare davanti e l'Etna dietro, dove il paesaggio con il verde si può davvero godere. Ho conosciuto gente molto dolce e premurosa, Marguerita mi ha introdotto nelle tradizioni locali e ho conosciuto luoghi e persone molto interessanti che in altro modo non credo di aver conosciuto in quel modo. Mi mancano i miei mishis e le mie passeggiate mattutine con il mio amico Dudu a guardare l'alba, spero di tornare presto!! Grazie!!!!

Margarita è una grande persona e una grande artista. Ci ha reso una coppia più forte. Ci ha fatto sentire parte della sua cultura, si è presa molta cura di noi e ci ha fatto impegnare in cause che richiedevano supporto per poter continuare a stare in piedi più forti di quanto non lo fossimo già. Se vuoi aiutare Margarita nel suo spazio fallo, c'è una ricompensa personale. Da parte mia come artista mi sono sentito nel cuore della sua arte che offre all'intera comunità nel suo bellissimo centro la casa con energia unica. Lo spazio e le attività sono meravigliosi, anche la sua gente. Ci sono alcuni eventi nella comunità. ♡ Grazie Margarit ♡

Before I went out, I thought I was just going to work and talk to some people. But I didn't expect to get such an experience. Shared dinners, hiking, beaching, camping, parties. I have never experienced such hospitality anywhere. Margharet is a fantastic woman. He radiates such strength, positivity and cheerfulness that those who are close to him also adopt this. His family is also wonderful and hospitable and their friends are there too, and of course my best four-legged friend Dudú :) This month will remain a defining part of my life, grazie mille di tutto e spero di rivedervi!

Este voluntariado ha sido una experiencia increíble para mi. El lugar es precioso, lleno de verde y árboles frente al mar. El espacio de alojamiento está muy bien, tienes tu trailer independiente y compartes baño y una cocina bien equipada. Las tareas son simples, Margherita es muy clara con lo que te pide hacer y respeta las horas de trabajo. Al ser una casa de huéspedes, cuando yo estuve siempre había gente de distintos paises con quienes compartir una charla o un café. Aprendí mucho de la cultura siciliana; música, costumbres, etc. gracias a Margherita :) Me encantó, quiero volver!

I had a beautiful experience, I thank Margherita for opening the doors of her home and sharing her talents with us. Take the dance and tamburello classes with Sicilian was incredible, I learned and enjoyed a lot. My mornings and afternoons walking Dudu were the best. I also had the opportunity to contribute with my art, designing visual graphics, videos, and updating their website, it was a pleasure! The other cleaning tasks were quiet perfect for have time to go to the beach, eat Granita, ice cream or pizza :). If you go in summer, consider that it is very hot. Grazie mile! torno presto ;)
