Dan e Galina ci hanno davvero fatto sentire a casa sin dall'inizio. Dan ci ha incoraggiato a provare cose nuove, come fare il pane fatto in casa e progetti fai-da-te, il che mi ha spinto fuori dalla mia zona di comfort ed è stato gratificante imparare nuove abilità. Il lavoro richiesto da noi è stato chiaramente spiegato tramite un documento dettagliato, e Dan è rimasto in contatto con noi quotidianamente tramite WhatsApp, quindi è stato sempre facile contattarlo in qualsiasi situazione. L'atmosfera a Taney era incredibile. Nel tempo libero, al di fuori del lavoro, siamo stati in grado di fare molte delle escursioni intorno alla Montagna. È stata un'esperienza meravigliosa resa possibile da ospiti molto affidabili e generosi.

Era stato promesso un compenso e non è stato pagato integralmente; io e il mio partner abbiamo pagato una spesa accidentale principalmente a causa della mancanza di conoscenza dell'attrezzatura. Siate consapevoli che per questa missione state generando le entrate di qualcun altro senza essere pagati. Lavorate gratuitamente per qualcuno con orari di alta stagione che supereranno le 20 ore/settimana. Altrimenti l'ambiente è molto bello e naturale; avete tempo per conoscere gente e godervi i paesaggi.

Dan e Galina sono stati degli ospiti meravigliosi—gentili, accoglienti e sempre disposti a insegnare e spiegare i compiti. Il lodge Baabuk è un posto speciale, accogliendo ospiti incantevoli che amano la natura, le montagne e i laghi. Ho imparato molto sull'ospitalità, sulla cucina e sulla natura. I compiti e l'attrezzatura sono chiaramente spiegati in un documento organizzato, rendendo facile lavorare in autonomia. Durante l'alta stagione estiva molto impegnata, c'è molto lavoro, e gli orari di lavoro possono superare l'orario previsto, quindi indipendenza, responsabilità e maturità sono importanti. Sono molto grato a Dan e Galina!

A little piece of magic in the Alps Spending time as a volunteer at Petit the lodge Baabuk has been a truly special experience. From the very beginning, Dan and Galina welcomed us with open arms, creating a warm, relaxed and inspiring atmosphere that made us feel at home. Lac de Taney is a dreamlike place, surrounded by mountains, nature and silence, it's the perfect place to reconnect and slow down. This experience allowed me to learn, grow, and gain new perspectives. Thank you, Dan and Galina, for everything. I'll carry this little piece of Taney with me wherever I go.

I would definitely repeat the experience without any doubt. It's an ideal place to disconnect, and I've learned to do many manual tasks. The place is paradise, and there are plenty of options if you enjoy the mountains. The hosts welcomed us with open arms and provided all kinds of support. As for the tasks, yes, there are quite a few things to do, but for me personally, the stay went by quickly. Taney has felt like home during these three weeks!

This was my second time volunteering at the lodge Baabuk. During my first stay, we have done a lot of DIY projects, while the second time was more focused on managing the daily operations of the house. This included preparing the rooms, cleaning various spaces, baking, and making breakfast and dinner. Whenever I had some free time, I enjoyed going for walks, Taney is a beautiful place or swimming in the lake. the lodge is truly a special place, and I hope future volunteers will find as much joy in taking care of it as I did. Thank you Dan and Galina for your trust.

My stay at the Baabuk hostel was another month full of great experiences. Here, Dan shares with us a unique setting in the Swiss Alps with the confidence and autonomy that helped me grow. I was able to develop my social and communication skills, as well as some DIY skills (if you like DIY, go for it!). You'll be helping to develop and grow a wonderful little inn and create some incredible memories. Dan and Galina are two very welcoming and friendly hosts who will make you feel at home.
