La mia esperienza all'Hostel el sofa Caracas è stata meravigliosa. Questo è stato il mio primo volontariato e l'ho amato, Steven fin dall'inizio è stato gentile e molto flessibile, sono riuscita a svolgere le mie ore di volontariato e, contemporaneamente, occuparmi del mio lavoro remoto, la zona è molto sicura e piacevole, il clima è ideale. Le mie mansioni sono state occuparmi dei cuccioli e del gatto, aiutare nell'organizzazione e nella pulizia e creare un ambiente piacevole per gli ospiti. Grazie anche a Gabriel, la persona incaricata, che ha reso il mio soggiorno ancora più piacevole e divertente☀️ sono partita con un cuore pieno di molta pace e buona energia ❤️

Mi experiencia ha sido muy genial en the hostel, he hecho una linda amistad con Steven, he ayudado en la cocina y he aprendido un montón, también ayudé con el marketing de las redes sociales y con los textos de la web, todas las personas son muy atentas, cumplen con todo lo que dicen y hasta más, me dieron desayuno, almuerzo, las toallas, dejaron que use el lavaropas y la secadora. de verdad súper recomendado

The hostel is an amazing place to be at. Venezuela as a whole has been an incredible and enriching experience, I have felt safe but more than anything I have felt welcome and like I belong. At the hostel I have felt like they value not only me, but everyone who works there, and all guests as well, the sense of camaraderie I saw there I had never seen before and to say it feels like being with family is an understatement. Anyone would be extremely lucky to be a part of it and it's certainly an excellent chance to meet travelers and learn more about Venezuelan culture!

I'm so greatful for this opportunity! During my stay I was mostly taking care of two wonderful dogs, Lily and Stitch, and I already miss them so much. Steven, the owner is an amazing person, always flexible, understanding and super fun. I met so many amazing travelers, as well as locals, which made this experience a great opportunity to socialize and immerse into local culture. Sharing my volunteer experience with José was just the best thing that could happen to me. Leaving this place after a month was really heartbreaking for me and I really hope to return soon. Thank you! <3

Las personas que están trabajando en la mañana parece que no saben lo que es una persona voluntaria la única persona que me dió las indicaciones correspondientes fue Sara quien me envió un mail con las tareas de los voluntarios a pesar de esto la experencia fue incomoda habia un chico que limpiaba que solo hacía énfasis de recoger las heces se dirigia a mi solo para gritar esto delante de todos,las tareas están cubiertas xq ya le pagan a él para esto. No es verdad que ofrecen desayuno, desde el primer día después de aceptar la estadía arrendaron la habitación y su prioridad era siempre $$$

Me quedé dos semanas en El Sofá Caracas, y fue una de las mejores experiencias que pude tener para ser mi primer voluntariado. Es una buena oportunidad para conocer personas locales y viajeros internacionales. Me llevo grandes recuerdos y amigos que hicieron estos días una aventura única. Las tareas son sencillas como limpiar baños, áreas comunes y habitaciones. Y estar atento de los check-in, check-out y los huéspedes. Hice mi experiencia con Agata de Polonia, y se volvió una gran amiga. Gracias a Steven por guiarme y compartir con nosotros y dejarme vivir una experiencia en mi país.

We stayed and worked four months in the hostel the best and the hostel in Caracas, where we met Steven and his family. They are very nice, kind and helpful people. We had also the opportunity to meet with a lot of local people and foreign travelers and we have learned a lot from them . Dont miss the opportunity to go to the hostel and visit Caracas!

Las tareas en el hostel son muy simples y sencillas, me tocó el turno en la mañanita que me cayó perfecto. La estructura del hostel es increíble, muy cómoda, Steven, Paulina, doña Rosa y Sr Orlando siempre atentos y amables para hacerte sentir parte. Por supuesto los animalitos igual, unos regalones. Pasando por Venezuela recomiendo super esta experiencia :))

El Sofá is a nice hostel to stay and do volunteer work. The host Steven is a nice friendly guy, also his parents are sometimes around which are also nice people. You work in shifts and the hours are respected. The place of the hostel is in a very safe and nice neighbourhood. Work consists of walking with the dogs, give food to the dogs and the cats, checking in and out guests, and sweeping the terras. Overall easy and calm shifts :) i had a very good experience in this hostel and i got to know the life as a Caraceño. Thanks for the experience Steven!!
