L'esperienza nella cantina è stata davvero fantastica. Il lavoro è stato un po' duro a causa della temporaneità, ma gli orari sono sempre stati rispettati, quindi abbiamo avuto tutto il pomeriggio per conoscere il posto, fare una siesta o lavorare da remoto, come ho fatto. Gill e James sono davvero dei fantastici ospiti. Durante i pasti abbiamo avuto piacevoli conversazioni e abbiamo conosciuto le vite degli altri. Inoltre, Gill è una cuoca davvero brava, il cibo è sempre delizioso e molto sano. Il posto è bello, è circondato dalla natura e ci sono luoghi molto vicini e belli da visitare, come Well e Bath.

Che esperienza fantastica! Ho trascorso un mese lavorando nel vigneto Fenny Castle ed è stata davvero una splendida esperienza! In primo luogo, Gill e James sono stati ospiti incredibili; sono stato così fortunato ad averli come parte della mia prima esperienza! Le ore sono state rispettate, cibo fantastico servito (pasta incredibile) e alloggi davvero buoni. Si trova nel bellissimo Somerset e vicino a Wells dove si possono visitare posti come Bath e Bristol in un'ora. Abbiamo lavorato sui vigneti potando le viti. Ho provato una grande soddisfazione una volta terminata la sezione Ortega nel mio ultimo giorno. È assolutamente da fare!

La cantina vinicola è stata una grande esperienza 🌻 Ho aiutato in diverse attività di raccolta e nella raccolta vera e propria, un po' di imbottigliamento della sidro e della raccolta delle mele. Gill, James e Bella ti fanno sentire molto benvenuto e si prendono cura affinché tu abbia tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno; sono molto meravigliosi, gentili e rilassati. Ti ringrazio entrambi per avermi dato l'opportunità di vivere com'è la vita in una cantina vinicola 🌻 In questo periodo dell'anno il tempo può essere molto burrascoso, ventoso e piovoso, ma ci sono a volte giorni meravigliosi di sole; si può raggiungere Wells Station in bicicletta o a piedi in 45 minuti, poiché l'autobus per Wells può essere un po' scarso

Gill and James made me feel at home right from the beginning. I have had lots of interesting conversations with them and we shared lots of laughs. The food was delicious, especially the basil pesto that Gill always made. Bella was a lovely dog who welcomed me when I first got there. The tasks varied from working in the winery to painting a shed, so it was great to have a variety of different things to do there. I would really recommend spending some time with them!

I stayed with Gill and James for ten days at the end of July. The work was a mixture of working in the winery and then doing some painting of the house. It was decent physical effort but it was great being outside all day and you finish by lunch so the whole afternoon was free to relax or explore the area. James and Gill were amazing hosts, we had some great conversations about wine, Somerset and so much more. The food was amazing and seemingly endless too and Bella is such a cutie. Would absolutely recommend to anyone

We had a truly wonderful stay at the winery! From the moment we arrived, Gill and James went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed to feel completely at home. Their attention to kindness and genuineness made our experience very special. They were always available, thoughtful, and ready to help with anything, lovely hosts in every sense. The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, and we left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and very well looked after, although there was a lot work to do! Highly recommended!

The days we spent with Gill, James and Bella were very special and will always be in our hearts. It was a wonderful experience, we learned new skills and it was interesting to learn how a winery works. James taught us calmly and clearly what should be done and encouraged us at all times. Gill was very welcoming, just like James, always concerned about whether we were well. During meals, there were very fun and friendly moments. Bella was love at first sight for me, we went for walks several times and she was an excellent guide to show us the whole neighborhood and its beautiful fields.Thanks

Wow, how happy we were in this place 🥹. I already miss every day, every moment with Gill, James and Bella 🐶 The tasks were different and this enriched our experience. We learned a lot about the winery and loved this project as if it were our own project 🥰. Dinner time was full of laughter (James may seem serious, but he is the funniest 🙃). Gill is kind, loving and smiling and they were very patient with my bad English 🙌🏽. I recommend this volunteering to everyone who really wants to help with love and respect for this place and , they are special people 💙🩷. We will be back!

My experience at the winery with Gill, James, and their lovely dog Bella was very pleasant. They welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home from day one. For three weeks, our work consisted of pruning the vines, as it was the season for it. Although repetitive, it was a rewarding task in a beautiful setting. We also had the chance to spend some days with their daughter Katherine, who was very kind. And I can't forget to mention their curries and apple crumbles, they were absolutely delicious!

My friend Annette and I volunteered at a the winery, where Gill and her husband, James, welcomed us warmly, making us feel at home. Their lovely dog, Bella, often joined us while pruning, making our days even better. Gill's kindness and humour made every moment special, and her curry dishes transported us to India. Both she and James were always attentive to our needs. It was an enriching experience, filled with laughter, learning, and the warmth of wonderful people.
