Overall, I had a good experience at the hostel, it is in the heart of Lisbon and you can meet a lot of different people. However, there isnt much to do in the 8h shifts as the permanent employees mostly take care of everything and I ended up being quite bored during my shift. But the 3 days off were useful to travel around Portugal. The kitchen is quite small and in the corridor next to the bathroom which made it hard to cook sometimes. The party concept is underway and we had one party during my stay which was a lot of fun, look forward to coming back when the party really gets started!

The hostel was my first Worldpackers experience and I have had a lovely time these past two weeks. The hostel is situated in a great location, close to restaurants and clubs. The work included checking guest in/out and laundry; Summer and João were especially helpful in explaining Ammenitiz and other processes. The three days off allowed me to explore Lisbon and beyond. Thank you to Anne, Angel and Jùlia who went the extra mile to welcome me and ensure I understood the laundry!!

My experience in the the hostel has been such a discovery, as my first trip with worldpackers I felt very welcomed and given the confident to learn and make my own contributions aswell. Sameer, as the reception chief is such a nice and encouraging person. definitely would recommend this experience to anybody who wants to have a good time in Lisbon :)

I had a great time in Lisbon! The girls and the team is great. Sumeer and Alex were such great people and resources during my stay. The party aspect is still in development and the days can seem long, but the other people and the city are amazing.

All the volunteers at rhino party hostel were fun, lovely, sociable and like minded! The reception work was reasonable and the hours were always stuck to. The location was perfect to explore Lisbon and all the places around Lisbon as well. Sumeer and MJ made sure I knew what I was doing when I was volunteering. It's a great way to see Lisbon and meet amazing people!

It has an undeniably wonderful location. My experience was not very welcoming, in terms of interpersonal experience, I missed it. There's a lot of pressure to deliver the work in random ways they ask us, but could prepare a better infrastructure to host us, they put us in a room for 6 people, without supervision, no cleaning. I also think they need to think more about the experience for volunteers, and not just expect us to be workers. It has 4 floors, the reception is on the third floor and one of the things they want us to do for long hours is to be available to go up and down frequently...

Ciao Danilo, ottieni dall'esperienza quello che ne metti dentro... come altri volontari che erano lì nello stesso periodo, hanno avuto esperienze meravigliose (basta leggere le altre recensioni). Siamo molto chiari su quali sono i compiti e le funzioni della posizione prima che accetti di fare volontariato con noi; sfortunatamente nelle prime 3 settimane del tuo volontariato non sei stato impegnato nei compiti, e solo nell'ultima settimana hai mostrato una grande miglioria e anche coinvolgimento con il resto del team. SÌ - abbiamo 4 piani, e SÌ - ci piace aiutare i nostri ospiti con i loro bagagli per offrire loro una grande esperienza con noi!! Siamo inoltre chiari sul fatto che la stanza dei volontari (il tuo spazio personale privato) deve essere pulita e ordinata dai volontari (non tocchiamo né muoviamo gli effetti personali).

Siamo spiacenti di sentirlo. Non abbiamo mai espresso né provato negatività nei tuoi confronti, quindi siamo dispiaciuti di sapere che ti sei sentito così.

Come puoi vedere sul nostro profilo, abbiamo recensioni fantastiche da altri worldpackers, inclusi volontari che erano lì nello stesso periodo in cui eri tu.
Purtroppo, dato che abbiamo avuto molteplici problemi con te e dopo molte conversazioni per cercare di rettificare la situazione, hai comunque scelto di fornire esperienze negative ai nostri ospiti; non abbiamo avuto altra scelta che chiederti di lasciare il volontariato prima del previsto.
È spiacevole perché abbiamo sempre avuto esperienze così incredibili con altri volontari.

Molti worldpackers si sono candidati a questa posizione recentemente. L'host probabilmente non sarà in grado di rispondere a tutte le candidature, quindi ti consigliamo di candidarti anche ad altri host nella nostra comunità e non solo a questo :)
