Questo è stato uno dei migliori volontariati che ho fatto. Fin dal primo giorno, Fernanda mi ha fatto sentire a casa; è un'ospite incredibile, molto attenta e sempre pronta a fare in modo che ci si senta a proprio agio. Mi ha aiutato molto con consigli per conoscere Quito e l'Ecuador; le sono molto grato. Durante il mio soggiorno ho aiutato a dipingere una parete e ho sempre avuto i materiali necessari. La comunicazione è eccellente e rispettano gli orari. L'ostello si trova vicino a tutto ed è ideale per praticare l'inglese, poiché arrivano persone da tutto il mondo. È stata un'esperienza incredibile e mi sono sentito molto accolto. 🙌

Fine if you are happy to basically do the job that the owners doesn't want to do. For example cutting redundant pipes and making good work that hasn't been completed correctly in the first place. When I told the host I didn't think I would stay for the duration I was then greeted with looks and treated poorly from her colleague who sits and stares at you and cleaner. For accommodation and 1 piece of chicken and rice in the evening this really isn't worth it. Basically working for free for the benefits of the hostel.

I absolutely loved staying in the hostel, Fernanda is a lovely person and the place is beautiful. I spend a great time at the hostel. The kitchen is also very good, with a great view of the city and there's a lot of spaces to chill at the hostel. I recommend a lot the experience. I hope I can come back to Quito and spend some more time here. <3

Mi Experiencia en el hostel fue Excelente. La amabilidad y buena comunicación con Fernanda fue genial y gracias a ello me sentí como en casa. Estoy muy agradecido por todo lo vivido aquí, siempre tendré en cuenta este lugar para cuando vuelva a Quitó, doña Lucía tuvo una atención muy agradable para conmigo, gran persona y muy atenta. Recomiendo este lugar para quien guste conocer el centro histórico u otros lugares patrimoniales de esta gran ciudad. Los horarios y las comidas se cumplieron a la perfección ✨️ 👌 Muchas gracias el hostel

Mi experiencia no fue la esperada. Al principio fueron muy amables conmigo. Sin embargo, problemas de comunicación fueron creando inconvenientes en el camino,sentí que no se tomo en cuenta mi opinión en algunas decisiones que me afectaban.La experiencia se reduce a qué tanto puedes hacer en tus horas de trabajo,pero no hay un proceso de acompañamiento ameno en el que las dos partes tengan beneficios de la experiencia de voluntariado. Tuve una caída que me impidió realizar mis tareas con rapidez,trate de que llegáramos a un acuerdo. Decidi retirarme cuando senti que se perdió el respeto

La ragione principale per cui abbiamo deciso di interrompere la tua collaborazione è che hai messo a rischio il nostro ospite con cui sei uscita e che è risultato intossicato da qualche tipo di droga, e abbiamo dovuto soccorrerlo in una stazione di polizia!
Abbiamo avuto una brutta esperienza e, dopo ciò, abbiamo sospeso il volontariato.
Ho deciso di non denunciarti per non nuocerti, ma ci piace molto l'onestà e la trasparenza.

I had a nice experience, the hostel has a perfect location right in the heart of the historical center so it's quite easy to walk to all the interesting areas, the hostel is usually perfect and clean, all in the best conditions possible, the dorm is also quite nice and warm (hard to say in a cold city like Quito) sometimes your shift may be confusing but Fher is always up to clear things and explain in detail. It's not a party hostel, not a lot of backpackers either, so if you're a lot into socializing, you may find it boring sometimes, not a lot of activities to get involved either.
