Mixed experience. Positives: comfortable female 4-bed dorm with AC/curtains, fun evening socializing, free Thai dinner and two lovely dogs. Leandro was incredibly kind, supportive when I was sick and very flexible with my late arrival — a real goldmine. Unfortunately, management was disorganized and communication was poor. Daytime tasks were sometimes announced only an hour beforehand. I was pressured to leave a 5-star Google review in order to receive the free dinner I was already entitled to. I was also pressured to book the hostel via Hostelworld; after refusing, my 900 THB tab was blocked.

I do not recommend unfortunately. The other volunteers and the owners are respectful, but the employees were rude and told me to leave 4 days earlier with no valid reason (saying I did not work well, but many volunteers worked less hours than me and did not receive such treatment). Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else, because here safety and respect are not the priority..

Me quede 2 semanas en temporada baja. Buena experiencia, el lugar es tranquilo, no habia mucha gente - excepto 3 dias durante la full moon. Las tareas consisten en ayudar con las camas en la mañana (1 hora max) y jugar beerpong y/o socializar en las tardes. Dan un poco de plata para gastar en el bar y la cena esta incluida todos los dias. Eche un poco de menos el "team spirit" entre los voluntarios pero quizas porque muchos llevaban muchos meses ya.

This volunteering was really nice, we met so much nice people and the tasks were really easy, only 5h a day but 3h is socializing and maximum 2h is doing beds in the dorms. The hostel is well located and there is a lot of activities proposed ! If you enjoy partying talking to people, socialising, you will love this place like I did ! 😊

My experience as a volunteer was amazing! The tasks were simple and exactly as agreed, which made everything very easy and enjoyable. I had a great time, made lots of friends, and had so much fun exploring the island and sharing moments together. I highly recommend this experience for anyone looking to combine volunteering with fun and good company.

I absolutely loved my time in the hostel. I was there for 2 weeks and extended to stay longer cos i loved it so much!! the hostel is super social, you play beer pong every night which is the best way to meet people. the volunteer team is amazing and you have lots of time to explore the island and hangout outside of working. The shifts are really easy, Leandro is super lovely and communicates tasks very well, different volunteers do different tasks i did 1hr of cleaning during the day and then 3hrs of socialising (8pm-11pm) at night 6 days a week. Overall could not recommend more :)

I had such a good time at the hostel - the people are so awesome and you really feel like you're part of one big volunteer family. The work is easy: an hour of cleaning (sweeping + making beds), and socialising at the bar from 8-11pm. It's such a good deal: you get money to spend at the bar (thai + western food) and a free dinner AND free drinks. We stayed in a 4-bed female dorm with an ensuite and air conditioning (the cleanliness was standard). Overall, the island is beautiful, the energy is great, and the people are so cool :) My favourite worldpackers position yet <3 thanks so much!!

Great place to meet people from everywhere—super social vibe with shared meals and outings. Schedules and tasks were clear from the start, no surprises. Staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to help. Highly recommend!

Fue una buena experiencia. Alquilamos una moto y pudimos recorrer toda la isla. En la mañana cambiamos sabanas y a la noche teniamos que estar un rato entreniendo en el bar. El encargado de los voluntarios (Leandro) fue muy bueno con nosotros y busco que estemos cómodos. Sin embargo el dueño, Jeremy es una persona poco empatica a la cual no le importan los voluntarios ni su bienestar y pase un momento bastante desagradable culpa suya, sin embargo eso no logro opacar mi experiencia gracias a la hospitalidad de Leandro y los otros voluntarios.

Molti worldpackers si sono candidati a questa posizione recentemente. L'host probabilmente non sarà in grado di rispondere a tutte le candidature, quindi ti consigliamo di candidarti anche ad altri host nella nostra comunità e non solo a questo :)
