Lo consiglio vivamente. È un posto incantevole, gli organizzatori sono empatici e flessibili, si tengono conto delle preferenze dei volontari per scegliere i giorni liberi e penso che tutto si possa comunicare facilmente. La gente qui è meravigliosa, sia i volontari che le persone che vengono a meditare e anche gli ospiti, gli orari, a mio parere, sono abbastanza buoni, e il lavoro di housekeeping è chiaro e semplice, alcuni giorni c'è più lavoro che altri a causa di alcuni eventi. Personalmente sono molto grata, è stato per me una casa, ho anche migliorato molto nella meditazione.

Ho trascorso dei bei momenti con Tim nel Centro. Stavo lavorando come addetto alle pulizie e il lavoro sembrava non finire mai, ma con più persone che aiutavano siamo riusciti a mantenere lo spazio organizzato. I giorni più difficili sono stati mettere tutto in ordine, dalla colazione alle 19:00 pulendo la cucina. Richard, Desmond e Lobsang sono fantastici e mi hanno accolto molto bene. Il centro è abbastanza isolato, ma con le biciclette che prestano lì ho potuto pedalare per tutta la campagna e persino andare in Irlanda del Nord. L'autostop è stato molto facile anche, quindi non vedo l'isolamento come un problema. Raccomando davvero di fare volontariato a JL. Grazie!

L'ospitalità e la gentilezza sono state tra le migliori esperienze che ho mai vissuto. È un ambiente molto accogliente, empatico e sicuro. Ne sono uscito con un forte desiderio di tornare.

A wonderful experience! It has allowed me to connect with people, with nature, and with myself. The people who run the center are extraordinary and willing to help us at every turn. I had experiences I'll never forget with people I'll never forget. The surroundings are magical - lakes, trails, enormous trees—they make you feel small. The food is healthy, tasty, and abundant. I am grateful for everything I have experienced at the Center. I wish much love to everyone who lives there. I found what I was looking for: Myself.

I had an incredible time volunteering at the Center. The peacefulness at the Center is unlike anything else I've experienced. This stay is a great opportunity for people looking to escape the busy-ness of life, connect with other international volunteers, learn about Buddhism (if you want), and eat some amazing food!! Thank you everyone at the Center for making me feel at home 💛

I left the Center, a lot of memories I brought from it, from each person I met, from each experience I lived. These memories will be saved into my mind, and will help me in many moments through my life; but, since my first step in this place I could perceive some vibes which have reached my Soul during this time. That which can touch my Soul will stay forever, maybe, sometimes in the future, I won't be conscious of that Soul level. Whatever. In the depths of my sea I will be able to find this enviroment, and I will give thanks to the place of lovely kindness.

My stay at the Center Long was wonderful and just what i needed! Cooking for everyone was lovely and it was fun to experiment with new recipes. Everyone was really welcoming and there's lots of things to do if you enjoy quiet time by yourself. However, if you are looking for a social immersion, this might not be the place for you. I would always come back, thank you for having me (:
