Il mio periodo come volontario è stato davvero gratificante. Il team è composto da persone meravigliose dal cuore grande che mi hanno fatto sentire benvenuto durante tutto il soggiorno. Le lezioni sono state coinvolgenti e molto divertenti, rendendo ogni momento prezioso. Consiglio vivamente questo programma a chi cerca un ambiente solidale e vibrante.

Ho passato un tempo davvero divertente e genuino con gli insegnanti e gli studenti. L'insegnamento in sé non è davvero insegnamento; è più presentare una presentazione di diapositive davanti alla classe su te stesso. L'atmosfera dell'alloggio era divertente e rilassata, soprattutto vivendo con gli altri studenti e il personale. C'è anche una forte enfasi sulla creazione di contenuti per i social media, che può essere faticosa. Sono flessibili con i tuoi accordi - sono andato a Yogyakarta per 3 giorni invece di fare viaggi. Bekasi è un po' deludente ma è divertente andare nelle altre filiali e conoscere nuove persone durante il volontariato. Grazie ragazzi :)

Ho trascorso momenti meravigliosi facendo volontariato con la scuola. Le lezioni e gli studenti sono stati molto divertenti e, principalmente, ciò che ne è sorto dipendeva da me. Mi è piaciuto giocare a giochi con gli studenti più giovani e avere discussioni interessanti con gli studenti più grandi parlando della cultura inglese, ma anche imparando molto sull\'Indonesia da loro! Rifki, Ancel e Sulton sono stati alcuni, tra gli altri, che sono stati brillanti nell\'aiutare con tutte le piccole cose, avere qualcuno a chiedere qualsiasi cosa mi servisse e semplicemente essere persone divertenti! Grazie per avermi portato nei viaggi intorno a Jakarta, è stata una grande esperienza!

Realmente un'esperienza unica nel suo genere!! Consiglierei questo progetto a tutti😊 Mi sono sentito subito parte della grande famiglia e tutti sono così gentili e adorabili, non posso letteralmente metterlo in parole! Sono super grato di aver avuto la possibilità di stare qui per un mese e auguro a tutto il team della scuola molto successo e felicità🤍 Grazie :)

I had a great experience volunteering at the school! All the staff, teachers, admin, and students were very friendly, welcoming, and always there to help me with anything I needed. I met some great people during my time here. The teaching consisted mainly of a cultural exchange between you and the students, which suited me as I had no prior teaching experience. You get to visit classes of a range of ages, from kids to adults, a few times a day, and I liked that the teaching sometimes took place in different branches around the city. I would definitely recommend!

The experience I had at the school was one that I'll never forget. It was truely get opportunity for as it opened doors for my future in teaching. The crew, the teachers and the students were always friendly and respectful. the school went above an ad beyond to make sure I was comfortable and to make sure I had no issues with anything. I had a beautiful experience volunteering at the school, and I really recommend it to other travelers. I stayed with amazing young people, shared the same space, joined activities, and learned from them while having fun. The place feels super local — no tourists around, just a genuine community, which made the experience even more special. Everyone was kind and treated me so well. If you're looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity where you can connect, learn, and contribute, this is a great choice!

My time at the school has been fun and I met amazingly kind people. They take super good care of you, providing you a private room, 3 meals a day, and laundry service. You work 6 days a week, teaching 2-4 classes or either children, teens, or adults. You also may be asked to create video content with them. Regarding the “trips around Jakarta”, I would have low expectations. I'm sure if you have a destination in mind where you'd like to go, they will happily accompany you, but you should take that decision on yourself. Overall, it's a great experience and I will miss everyone there!

I had a great time at the school! I can't recommend this experience enough to someone who is looking to teach english and dive into the indonesian local lifestyle. Both staff and students are super friendly and will help you along the experience. The schedule consists of teaching 6 days a week and 2-3 classes each day. You will get to teach in different schools but mostly the one located next to your accommodation. During my stay, I got the chance to visit the Istiqlal mosk, practice some Batik art and go to Pari island. Thanks again for the experience and hopes everyone is well !

My time here was amazing. The staff and teachers were really helpful, and you can always ask someone. You get to teach students of all ages, so you get to know the locals. I got really close to the students I lived with, and leaving is now harder than I thought it would be. I often had free time when the students had classes, but this time can be used for lesson planning, relaxing or calling home. I also got to see different parts of Jakarta, and some tourist places. The food is great, and they listen to your request. Also, a special thanks to Ocho for the secret coffee stash.
