Non c'è trasporto pubblico. I proprietari offrono un viaggio al supermercato più vicino 1-2 volte a settimana.

Abbiamo soggiornato presso l'host per due settimane e ci siamo divertiti molto. Ogni persona lì era molto gentile e simpatica. Il lavoro era molto rilassato. Abbiamo pulito le camere dell'host e i bagni dei camper; quando c'erano ospiti, abbiamo aiutato in cucina e abbiamo fatto la lavanderia. Abbiamo avuto molto tempo libero e il lavoro era nella maggior parte dei casi flessibile. La nostra sistemazione era un lodge con il nostro bagno, il che era fantastico. Il cibo era fornito e potevano aggiungere alcuni desideri alla lista della spesa. Potevamo usare la cucina tutto il tempo e la sera mangiavamo insieme. Ci è piaciuto molto restare lì!

I had a great time at the host, mainly because of the other backpackers who ran the host. We had a lot of fun together and I would say that your stay really depends on these connections. The nature in the surrounding area is beautiful, but unfortunately there aren't too many different hiking trails or paths. However, if you enjoy the slow life in a remote location, this is definitely a great opportunity for volunteer work! The work is super relaxed and depends on how busy the season is, I had lots of free time in winter. Many thanks to Ralph & Meg, the owners, who welcomed me so warmly.

Really enjoyed my time at the host; the people who work/volunteer there are friendly and easy to get on with. The work is straight forward as described in the description. It was nice to be close to nature and have a lovely view of the mountains. It's a lot different from the city but you soon adapt to it.

I had an amazing time volunteering at the host! The experience was incredibly rewarding. I loved being part of such a dedicated and friendly team. Everyone was supportive and passionate, which made working together a joy. The natural beauty of the host made it even more special, and I'm grateful for the chance to contribute to such a welcoming environment. Highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to volunteer in a beautiful setting!

I had a great time at the host! The work and hours were fair and simple. It was east to meet and get to know the other travellers working there, as well as people passing through. The area is beautiful with some bush walks nearby and a river to swim in. The location is a little isolating so it may be better for someone with a car who can explore the nearby area and towns, but is still relaxing and fun without one.

Durante il mio soggiorno, i compiti consistevano principalmente nella pulizia domestica e nel servizio in sala quando c'erano ospiti. Con pochissime prenotazioni c'era molto tempo libero/nessun lavoro. L'host ci veniva a trovare alcune volte al giorno per effettuare il check-in o darci un nuovo incarico, ma principalmente dividevamo i compiti tra lo staff. La maggior parte degli altri membri dello staff era internazionale e lavorava per i loro 88 giorni; sembravano integrarsi nei ruoli principali, mentre io facevo piccoli lavoretti qua e là quando necessario. I giorni di riposo consistono nel prendere il sole all'aperto o potrebbe capitarvi di andare in città con uno degli host, questo avverrebbe insieme a una corsa per fare shopping. Wifi limitato.

Had a great time at the host, met some great friends and the work was relatively easy. unfortunately we had the flood during my last week and a half at the host so it was very quiet but brought us all closer as friends. loved walking around the grounds! :)

It was a nice place out in the nature, would probably recommend to someone who wants to get away for a bit and enjoy the quiet. The nature is really nice and all the people I worked with were lovely it just can get a bit boring and isolating at times as there isn't that much to do
