La mia esperienza è stata oltre ogni cosa meravigliosa; se fosse possibile dare una valutazione più alta, lo farei senza esitazione. Gli host sono gentili, premurosi e comprensivi. Le aspettative sul lavoro sono ragionevoli. Il lavoro a casa richiede attenzione ai dettagli, ma lavorano accanto a te e forniscono sempre istruzioni con rispetto. I loro figli sono incantevoli. Sì, hanno i loro momenti come tutti i bambini (come me), ma sono ben educati, curiosi, intelligenti e gentili. Ho avuto la fortuna di insegnare piano ai loro figli. Le camere private sono pulite e confortevoli.
Ho amato davvero l'esperienza.

È stata un'esperienza incredibile lavorare con loro. Sono stati molto pazienti e gentili quando ho commesso errori. La comunicazione è stata costante e sono sempre stato aggiornato sui compiti quotidiani. Mi è davvero piaciuto lavorare lì ed è stato anche divertente.

Questa è stata la mia seconda esperienza con Worldpackers e mi è davvero piaciuta. Fin dall'inizio mi hanno fatto sentire benvenuto e apprezzato durante tutto il mio soggiorno. Durante le tre settimane successive ho imparato molto, soprattutto riguardo alla nutrizione e alla fede. Anna e Joel sono molto aperti al dialogo e abbiamo avuto interessanti conversazioni a pranzo. Anche con gli altri volontari con cui ho fatto delle piccole escursioni. La maggior parte dei miei compiti consisteva nel prendermi cura dei ragazzi e dare una mano in cucina, il che era sempre gestibile e mi ha fornito una buona esperienza. Questa è stata un'esperienza piuttosto indimenticabile :)

My stay at the home family surpassed any expectation I might have had before coming. Words can not express what I have gained from being with Anna, Joel, the kids and the other volunteers. They are the kind of people you rarely meet in your life, so it's best to cherish the time you spend with them. As with any volunteering opportunity, don't come here if you are expecting a vacation. While the work itself might not be the most challenging, every task requires diligence and thoroughness, especially working with the kids. Come with the right attitude and you will have the time of your life.

I stayed three weeks there and the family is caring and have a lot of knowledge about nutrition and religion, which can be really interesting since they are really open to teach you and debate about almost everything. I had a good conexion with most of the volunteers, but don't expext to meet a lot of people, it's more about staying long time with the same persons :) The only complain I could have it's that the working hours are more than five every day, many days being full day shift, and the free day is only Saturday. But the task are not difficult, they just take a long time. Love the food!

Grazie per il tuo messaggio. Avrei apprezzato se me lo avessi detto di persona, dato che ho chiesto più volte se tutto fosse a posto e se avessi avuto bisogno di tempo libero. Molte volte hai detto che potevi aiutare se necessario. Alcuni giorni sono stati interi giorni di lavoro, perché c\'erano cose da fare. Hai avuto giorni di riposo completi, tranne il sabato, ad esempio il giorno di Visingsö. Spesso avevi mezzo giorno di riposo. Nelle ore di lavoro non sono inclusi i tempi di pranzo o il lavaggio dei piatti, perché avresti dovuto farlo comunque se fossi stato libero.

I stayed with Anna and Joel for just over 2 weeks. I helped them with various tasks: gardening, playing and spending time with the children, helping with house tasks (cleaning and organising) and assisted with their the home. They are kind and generous people who try and help to make the world a better place by being passionate about people having a healthier lifestyle nutrition wise - which is what their the home is based on. I had a good time in this family and enjoyed taking care of the children. They were very kind and funny! Anna and Joel are wonderful people who always tried to make me feel comfortable. I have to say that the house really is surrounded only by nature so if you are a person who loves visiting cities or go out at night, this is not a place for you. The schedule is flexible though so you can take the bus during the week and visit cities such as Linkoping, Jonkoping etc. On the week-end you can go to Granna by car with the family too. This was my first experience as a volunteer, and it was amazing! Joel and Anna are a fantastic family, they are very sweet and kind people, and they really make you feel like part of the family. They are always willing to accommodate your needs. My work involved spending time with the children, helping out a bit in the garden and around the house, but I also had free time to visit nearby cities and relax (highly recommend a swim in the lake! :) )
