La mia esperienza con SPICE in Tanzania è stata senza dubbio una delle esperienze più speciali che ho vissuto. Dal primo momento mi sono sentita molto benvenuta e accompagnata. Mi sono sentita sicura e come a casa, anche se a migliaia di chilometri di distanza. Le persone di Chamazi sono incredibilmente vicine, gentili e accoglienti, e viverci permette di conoscere la Tanzania in modo molto più autentico che viaggiare semplicemente come turista. Quello che porto via di più sono i bambini. Avere la possibilità di trascorrere del tempo con loro, insegnare loro l'inglese e l'istruzione. Sono bambini pieni di energia, affetto e voglia di imparare.

Our volunteering experience was amazing. From the start, we both felt really welcomed and comfortable. The whole vibe was so positive, and everyone was super friendly and supportive. The team made it a fun and easy-going experience, and we loved being part of such a great atmosphere. We definitely recommend this experience to anyone who wants to be part of a kind and upbeat community.

It was my first volunteer experience and the best life experience. I loved the school and the children. I was able to explore the city and do various activities. In addition to meeting local people, I also met people from other parts of the world from whom I learned a lot. I would love to return someday.

I loved my experience in dar es salaam! The school children are very nice, and it is a great opportunity to learn about how differently people live all over the world. Spice was a great host, he was very accommodating to my plans and sudden changes. I also felt very safe during my trip!!

For my first solo trip, it was a great experience in Dar es Salaam, I met some great people and got to know Dar es Salaam as closely as possible to the local culture. Spice is very friendly and welcoming, and I'd advise you to communicate with him so he can help you to organize your trip as well as possible ! Working at the school, helping the young children and exchanging about our cultures was very cool... If you're a photographer or videographer, you're gonna love it, there are some really nice portraits to make and good memories to be created and shared ! Hakuna matata !

Spice è stata davvero gentile e accogliente. Suggerirei di chiarire le vostre esigenze in modo chiaro e di concordare gli orari in anticipo. Dalla mia esperienza, i Tanzani di solito seguono il flusso piuttosto che pianificare tutto in anticipo, quindi basta essere pazienti e mantenere una comunicazione aperta con il vostro ospite. I bambini erano davvero dolci e felici, e è stato bello avere l'opportunità di trascorrere del tempo con loro. L'unico aspetto negativo è che alla fine abbiamo trascorso principalmente a giocare con i bambini invece di insegnare l'inglese.

La experiencia en este lugar fue horrible este hombre no está nada implicado con losniños aunque intente dar la imagen de que es todo lo contrario ,indiferencia absoluta y nada de implicación no te acompaña al lugar para explicarte nada ,intenta ligar contigo y hacer comentarios que te incomodan por que sólo quiere una novia blanca ,llego a decirme q su sueño era estar con una blanca ,cuando vas por la calle te deja atrás y a mi me agarraron hombres agresivamente estando con el y cuando se lo dije el se rÃo en mi cara ,enserio no vayáis a este lugar si sois mujeres jóvenes y vais solas

I hade a rewarding experience in Tanzania, with great encounters and meaningful moments. Spice's welcome was warm, and I appreciated discovering the local culture through this mission. Some aspects of the experience did not fully match what was described in the listing, which was a bit unsettling. However, before I left, I had a discussion with Spice about it, and I truly appreciated his attentiveness and understanding. He was very open to the conversation and took my feedback into account to improve the experience for future volunteers.

It was my first time alone in Africa and I felt more than comfortable. Thank you to Hussein for making my stay so pleasant. He looked after us very well and just wanted the school be happy. Despite Ramadan, he did something amazing for us on the day of the meal. I could taste his love in the food. The rooms were very clean and we felt comfortable staying with Hussein. The children at school were very respectful and super nice. I miss you already. Thank you so much for the unforgettable time. Asante sana!!
