Una casa molto accogliente e piena d'amore con tutti i cuccioli pelosi di Casa Luna, il soggiorno è stato molto buono, le camere erano pulite e comode, Omar ci ha fatto vivere esperienze molto belle e luoghi con molta storia e cultura a Xicotepec.

È stata un'esperienza incredibile nonostante il poco tempo. Laura e Omar hanno avuto molta cura di noi, ed è stato un piacere conoscere un posto così magico come Xicopetec, ancora di più potendo contribuire con la nostra arte come artisti urbani e muralisti.
Tutti i loro animali domestici sono amichevoli, e ognuno ha una storia incredibile. Torneremmo volentieri. 🙌🇲🇽

Omar, Laura and Tony are very nice people! Yes they have around 23 dogs and some more cats, but they are all cute and not aggressive at all. I really loved it there, first the experience with all the animals is something special, then Omar is a super Chef and cooks delicious food every day. The house gets cleaned regularly, what is also necessary with that many animals. I was the only guest during my stay, so when i wanted to have time for my own, i could just go in my bedroom and chill there. We made some trips into the beautiful nature, where you can learn a lot from the hosts.

Omar, Laura and Toni are incredible people! They gave some tours around the city and also a spiritual one (Temazcal), I was able to learn a lot. They also have a lot of dogs and cats that are definitely a plus, it was great to be around them. Although, there were some moments I didn't felt 100% welcomed.

Omar, Laura and Tony are great tour guides and take genuine enjoyment in it. They have great familiarity with Xicotepec, the local customs, nature and locals in the town. They will be super helpful to you as long as your eager to learn and participate. The place itself is cozy, the 22 dogs can be a little hectic, but once you get to know them... you will love them all and know them all by name. Would recommend to people looking for an interesting experience to reconnect with nature!

The hosts Omar and Laura were extremely welcoming and kind. The tours were immersive, educational and adventurous and I learnt a lot about the history of Puebla and Xicotepec. The hosts, along with Tony were helpful guides and accompanied me on various trips around the city. There was a slight sanitation issue as the bathroom and bedroom were not the cleanest. Nevertheless I was comfortable and safe. Overall an enriching experience :)

Omar, Laura, Lupita and Thonny were really welcoming and were happy to show me around Xicotepec de Juárez. I also went hiking with their 20 dogs it was amazing, and to the waterfalls, explored the city and nature. They're very proud about their puebla and gave me alot of information about its history.. Volunteering there was not hard at all, I was not asked to do much, except for painting and photography which were the main things I applied for.

My friend and I left the WP experience shortly after arrival. In spite of Omars kindness and how helpful he had been all the way the living situation did not meet our expectations. It is a beautiful thing to have rescued so many animals however they were allowed everywhere including countertops in the kitchen and in our room which it took smell off. We talked to Omar about it, he was cool and helped us find a ride onwards. After it all he asked me not to give a bad review but also gave me a 'no show' which I felt was unfair given our time and resources spent coming to the hostel.

Ci scusiamo per il no show, ma mi è stato chiesto di lasciare una recensione che non avevo; vi ho visti solo per 15 minuti.
Abbiamo mantenuto la quantità di 13 gatti e 20 cani, e prima di accettarvi come volontari abbiamo chiesto come vi sareste sentiti riguardo agli animali domestici.
Avere questa quantità di animali da soccorso sarebbe disumano tenerli rinchiusi in gabbia.
Ci dispiace per il malinteso tra voi e Simone e per non aver soddisfatto le vostre alte aspettative; come abbiamo detto forse questo non era per voi.
Poiché non abbiamo mai avuto problemi con altri volontari.
Speriamo che il resto del vostro viaggio in Messico soddisfi le vostre aspettative.

La labor que hace Omar con los animales rescatados es destacable y las tareas del voluntariado permiten conocer de una manera increíble Xicotepec de Juárez. Además es una persona amable y atenta. Sin embargo, las condiciones del alojamiento no nos parecieron adecuadas y deberían mejorar mucho en cuanto a limpieza.
