No words to describe my time with Nelima at Bethesda school. So inspiring to see the determination of every single child and the teachers to make life better for themselves. Nelima has done an amazing job with setting up the school for those in need. I was welcomed with open arms and thoroughly enjoyed my time. Nelima was kind, considerate and helped my stay be as fantastic as possible. Highly recommend and I cannot wait to come back to visit my Kenyan family🩷

Ho ospitato Natasha e lei è stata una persona così meravigliosa nel nostro progetto. My experience at Bethesda was incredible, much better than I could imagine. Children are wonderful, always eager to learn anything, and giving you a lot of love from day one. Nelima is a great host, always caring about the children and the organization, she knows many interesting things about Kenya and its culture. The staff made me feel at home, they also teach you many things about their culture and ask you about yours. The area is incredible for those who enjoy country life, all corn plantations, and has the city nearby, where you can buy everything. 100% recommended. I want return.

Apprezzo Arturo per essere un volontario diligente. Ha un cuore bellissimo per i bambini. È stato un buon allenatore e docente di spagnolo e affettuoso; i bambini si sentono sempre felici con Arturo.

Bethesda kids are absolutely amazing and bring yourself back to what love and life means. ¿Too cheezy? Probably, yet very much true in my heart. My big suggestions for future volunteers are: 1. Get cash and a SIM card at the airport with allot of GB. You will need it and you should definitely not rely on eSIM cards nor WiFi. 2. READ with these kids! They love it and they don't have time in their other classes for it.

My stay at Bethesda was a wonderful experience. The opportunity to teach such amazing children, who have nothing more than love in their hearts, is something I will never forget. While communication between the host and volunteers could be challenging at times, these instances were rare for me. The teachers and host made me feel incredibly welcome, ensuring I felt right at home. Their efforts greatly enriched my experience of village life. I highly recommend coming and experiencing this organization and helping them grow as much as possible.

Sei la volontaria che il mio cuore ama, proprio come tutto il personale ti vuole moltissimo. Quello che hai detto era vero. Alla tua partenza le cose sono andate storte, tutto è stato difficile per me.
Per favore, lavoriamo insieme per rafforzare la nostra organizzazione. Anche ora faccio fatica a nutrire i bambini; il cibo che hai lasciato è finito. Nessuno se ne prende cura.

My host was amazing such a lovely person I felt welcome from the first second. She does so much for the project and the children but also had time for me to show me around and give me lot of information about the country etc. I loved every second I spend in the school teaching and spending time with the kids. The whole experience was just amazing and I had the best time.

Very meaningful and original experience. The children are very sweet and willing to learn and Nelima is a woman with a Big heart for the children❤️ If you want to try the original life in the village and help with teaching children, this is it🙌🏼

It was a great experience to collaborate with the school, teach, dance, play and sing with the kids! It's a beautiful community and a good opportunity to make a positive difference in the daily lives of the children.
