It was a great experience for me, especially because it was my first time in France. Erika is a great person, she is very kind and welcoming, and I felt very comfortable there. The tasks were easy, and the working environment is friendly. I really enjoyed my time there:) ☀️🏰

Erica is really an amazing person. In a few weeks I felt like she was a great friend of mine. She is respectful with the world Packers rules, I never worked more than I should, my hours were always repeated. She is also open minded and tried to help me with everything. On my free time she invited me and another volunteer to go out to the market and do fun activities for leisure. I really have nothing bad to tell about her, all in all, my experience was great.

Estoy muy feliz de haber llegado al hogar de Erika, desde el primer día siempre fue muy gentil y amable conmigo. Se preocupa de hacerte sentir cómoda y segura. Con el paso de los días nos fuimos conociendo mejor y se convirtieron en amigos que espero duren por siempre. Me dará mucha pena irme de su hogar y dejar su hermosa familia. Las risas nunca faltaron y todos los días habían anécdotas nuevas que compartir. Muy agradecida y feliz de poder coincidir con ellos en este viaje a Francia ❤️🩹

Erika es una persona muy agradable y amable, te invita a poder ser autónoma en las tareas diarias, te explica cada trabajo con paciencia y dedicación. Agradezco la oportunidad que tuve con ella ya que aprendí sobre la cultura, las personas y diferentes actividades realicé. El lugar queda en una zona tranquila donde podras encontrarte contigo mismo, muy recomendable.

Erika is a great person; all tasks were assigned clearly and politely. Schedules and days off were respected, and I had more than enough food to cook. The town is small, but the region has a lot to explore. I recommend it to anyone who wants to visit a peaceful place.

If you want to disconnect from the city end immerse yourself on local life and amazing views, this is the place. Amboise is a place that ask you to discover it and encourages you to go and start a conversation with anyone. The tasks at the Hotel are easy to understand and the working hours were always respected. Erika is one of the warmest hosts i've had, she always has good conversation, receives you with a smile every morning and makes you feel welcomed during the whole stay. The hotel is beautiful and Erika's friend is pure fun. Thanks for everything, Erika! It was amazing :)

It was a nice experience because I had a beautiful, clean and comfortable accommodation exclusively for me. I had my own bedroom, own bathroom and own kitchen, it was marvelous; moreover, I always had the food that I wanted. On the other hand, I improved my skills in cleaning because I learned new things about housekeeping. Moreover, I painted a fence for the first time.

My experience with Erika was excellent. She is a very sweet person, and together with her husband Adrian, they gave me exceptional attention. When my next volunteering was canceled, Erika helped me a lot to solve the issue. The work in her hotel is simple; it involves maintaining cleanliness and paying close attention to details, as she aims to provide the best for her guests, and her hotel reflects that care. I had my own private space with a bathroom, room, and kitchen. Highly recommended!

Fui en temporada invernal, asi que no habia muchas actividades en los cuartos. Erika fue amable conmigo siempre que estuvimos en el hôtel, me senti en confianza y por lo tanto creo que se hacian horas de más pero agradables. El unico tema es que esta muy retirado donde te alojan y de ahi partir al hôtel, las bicis que ofrece no son las mejores para las colinas que hay que atravesar. Además de que para llegar y salir de ahi no te contemplan para nada, tu llegas por tus propios medios y esto se complica demasiado. Yo soy amante del ciclismo pero para quien no lo sea definitivamente no es bueno

Entendemos que el transporte puede ser un desafío en una zona rural como Amboise, y por eso explicamos durante la entrevista que es fundamental que los voluntarios sean independientes y se organicen con sus desplazamientos con anticipacion . Apreciamos tu feedback .

During my stay with Erika , I experienced a significant adjustment due to the cold weather, as I come from the warm Mexican Caribbean. Despite expressing my discomfort, no uneasy. While the tasks were simple and the accommodation adequate, I observed certain aspects that conflicted with my personal values. This, more than an unexpected personal matter, led me to leave after a week. I value acting in alignment with my principles and chose to prioritize them above all else.
