I had an absolutely wonderful time at the Center the Center. Everyone here is so kind and welcoming, and I learned so much about myself, Buddhist teaching, and the local culture. The work can be hard sometimes (especially in Landscaping and Maintenance), but they're always willing to teach you skills and listen if you need rest/want to work elsewhere. I will say—knowing some French would be very helpful, but I don't speak any and didn't have many issues at all. Many people were kind to translate for me if needed. Thank you KMC the Center for this experience!

My third the Center and another incredible place with nice and kind people. I went to the Center classes and helped in the kitchen and learned a lot of things, I highly recommend this place🙏🏻

I had a fantastic time volunteering at CMK the Center! A remote and peaceful location, there's a little village to explore and also a gorgeous forest to walk through nearby. The work was reasonable and overall well-organised and flexible. In addition, the team there were so open and welcoming; I got to meet heaps of amazing volunteers too, who I loved getting to work with. This was my first volunteering experience, and I absolutely loved it.

This was my first experience as a volunteer and I couldn't have asked for anything better. All the people I met were extremely receptive, friendly, kind and patient. Not everyone speaks English and I don't understand any French, but that didn't stop us from communicating with patience and understanding. The schedules are very organized and it was always very clear what was expected of me. My tasks were explained very well. Furthermore, the place is simply incredible, the connection with nature was spectacular and it was incredible to be able to disconnect from urban life.

This is one of the experiences that will leave you with so much more than you are giving! Everyone here is kind and always willing to help. It will feel like a community where you are welcomed and depending on how involved you want to be, it will make you feel like you belong. The castle and grounds ad just stunning, surrounded by nature, which is perfect for self reflection during your time off. Thank you KMC team for the opportunity to spend an amazing time here. My experience at KMC the Center was truly remarkable. Despite the language barrier, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel like part of a close-knit family. Exploring the profound teachings of the Center Buddhism added a unique depth to my journey. I wholeheartedly recommend this enriching experience to all future volunteers. It was undoubtedly the best time of my life, and I eagerly anticipate my return to this extraordinary community.

Hermosa experiencia, este fue mi primer voluntariado y debo decir que fue genial. Las personas son realmente muy buenas, la buena energía se siente siempre. Es un espacio para desconectarte de todo y vivir el presente. El lugar está alejado en medio del campo, si te gusta salir no creo que sea el lugar para eso. Si te gusta la naturaleza y desconectarte de todo, este es el lugar perfecto para hacerlo. Agradezco la gran amabilidad de todos, me fui con el corazón lleno de amor y sabiduría. Gracias

Una gran experiencia para hacer voluntariado! Las tareas y los horarios son claros desde el principio, siempre se respetaron los tiempos y sentí que confiaban en mí. Además que las personas son muy amables y siempre dan lo mejor de si. Quizá te pueda parecer un poco inconveniente que el baño está afuera, las duchas están en el Château y hay horarios para comer; tampoco hay un pueblo cerca así que en tus tiempos y días libres no hay mucho que hacer pero es perfecto para ti si buscas desconectarte del mundo.
