This was my first volunteer experience, and it was excellent. Everything was made easy for me so that I felt comfortable. For the stay in the mountains, you need to be independent and know how to ride a motorcycle or drive a car to fully enjoy the island—it's a wonderful place. I hope to return here. I've been helping here for 6w, and there was never a day same as the other. Truly one of the highlight of my trip. As the place has its pace and demands, Adonis and Ellie's unique energy makes the experience always loving, fun and truly spontaneous. There is a great variety of task for you to cultivates adaptability and autonomy. You always meet new people in a beautiful and mindful setting, with nice and cleans rooms for volunteer. Near from beautiful beaches, there are also activities off the beaten track when time allow. A gem.

There are two places, Neochori and Paleros, they have different atmosphere. Neochori is in the mountains, it's a small isolated village with beautiful surroundings. What I felt there that the people have a lot of work and so there is very few time and space to connect although they are nice and kind people. For me personally the communication of Adonis wasn't clear enough about how he would expect a volunteer to be involved because his communicaton changed sometimes from day to day. I found that here you have to find your way by yourself.

No asisti a este voluntariado pues dos días antes de mi llegada la comunicación fue confusa y dio la impresión de que el anfitrión no recordaba detalles acordados. Le dije que ya me encontraba viajando desde otro continente y me informó que la aprobación inicial no significaba necesariamente que yo fuera la persona idonea para el puesto, adicional que no estaría presente para recibirme en la fecha acordada y que solo me haria el favor de alojarme una semana después como si el error inicial hubiera sido mio. La falta de claridad, organización y compromiso me generó suficiente incertidumbre.

Esse foi o meu primeiro voluntariado pela plataforma, e foi um ótimo começo! Pude conhecer muitas pessoas de todos os lugares do mundo, já que o Foodpath estava sempre lotado de gente. Temos direito ao brunch e à janta, assim como participar das práticas de yoga. O trabalho é tranquilo, fiquei responsável pelo social media e por ajudar com as louças (e o que mais precisasse). Fui para Paleros, o espaço que fica na costa, então tive muita liberdade e autonomia para visitar todas as praias próximas, e aos finais de semana pude passear com os hóspedes. Foi uma ótima experiência de verão!

I had a beautiful two weeks working with the Foodpath team in Palairos helping with kitchen tasks, cleaning, and social media. The villa itself is perfectly situated only a few minutes walk from the beach and the town is very charming! And the organization, freshly prepared by Ellie every day was just INCREDIBLE! The team there has created a magical place with a natural sense of love and community! I highly recommended this experience to any volunteer who is active, open minded, and has the ability to be flexible as each day was different and exciting and brought new tasks. I hope to come back soon♥️

Foi uma experiência incrível. Adônis/Antonios é um cara super gente boa, é exigente com as tarefas, mas super flexível e amoroso. Aqui é um ambiente bem tranquilo, próximo a praia, bares e restaurantes. Não gastei nada com comida, e comi super bem, a comida é deliciosa. Trabalhei dando aulas de Yoga e ajudando no que precisava, pintura, limpeza, etc. Também me abriram espaço para aplicar massagens nos clientes, o que me deu um retorno financeiro. Super recomendo essa experiência.

My 3 weeks were really nice. Adonis is a great host, he is always concerned about you and your comfort and is always willing to help you. Stavros is a really nice guy, always ready for a nice conversation and he makes the atmosphere really good. They are both great cooks, the organization is really sensational!! The work was very enjoyable, I helped in the garden and did some cleaning and everything was really nice to do. I had free time to exercise, hike, go to the beach and relax. Thank you for the opportunity, it was really good to be with you. All the best my friends!

My stay in the beautiful mountain neighborhood near Nydri was unforgettable! Adonis was an amazing host, ensuring we had everything we needed. He and Stavros taught us a lot about cooking, making us feel right at home. The location was stunning, and the whole experience was both educational and relaxing. Highly recommend!
