Ho passato il miglior periodo facendo volontariato. Dwey era super simpatico e avevamo un gruppo di volontari meraviglioso. I compiti erano davvero facili e tranquilli. L\'ostello è davvero centrale e si può esplorare la città facilmente.

Mi è davvero piaciuto fare volontariato presso HOJ! Sono state le tre settimane migliori di tutto il mio viaggio zaino in spalla. Il lavoro è stato davvero semplice e le responsabilità sono state spiegate chiaramente. Non mi è sembrato affatto che fosse molto lavoro. Grazie mille per avermi ospitato :)

Un posto incredibile con vere vibrazioni sociali, qui non mi sono mai annoiato. Attività ogni giorno gestite dai volontari, ottima posizione, bellissima città e molte cose da fare nel tuo tempo libero. Sono stato qui durante il Capodanno lunare e c'erano molte celebrazioni. La quantità di lavoro era giusta e mai troppo dura, letto comodo in un dormitorio con l'aria condizionata accesa tutto il tempo. Non potrei consigliarlo di più!

Io mi sono sentito molto bene accolto dal primo giorno. Anche se i proprietari non sono sempre presenti, Jenna, Dwey e le signore delle pulizie offrono tutto il supporto di cui hai bisogno e creano un ambiente così leggero e amichevole. Le attività sono facili e molto flessibili. La colazione è semplice, ma davvero buona, e ricevi anche 10 RM al giorno alla fine. La posizione è perfetta, proprio nella strada principale del cibo e della vita notturna. Il mio ultimo giorno è stato indimenticabile. Mi è piaciuto davvero tanto — grazie per tutto! 💌❤️

I'm so glad I came to HOJ! One of the best hostels I've volunteered at. fair hours, clean and comfortable place, and the best vibe. Special thanks to Janna and Dewy for their patience, guidance, and support, they made everything easy to learn. Reception shifts are well-structured and activities were so much fun, I loved leading the pub crawl and meeting amazing people from all over the world. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I'm grateful to have been part of the HOJ family, I truly felt at home and left with unforgettable memories.

Una esperienza davvero divertente con un team fantastico. Le aspettative del lavoro che devi svolgere sono molto realistiche e gli orari sono buoni, considerando che si tratta di volontariato. Si è davvero sentita una famiglia con il resto dei volontari, dello staff e perfino dei viaggiatori. Grazie!

I loved my two weeks of volunteering at the hostel. The work was quite simple and the schedule was flexible. I enjoyed taking part in the activities organized by the hostel, which allowed me to meet many travelers. The staff was very kind, the hostel was always clean, and the dorms were spacious and comfortable. The hostel is very well located in the city of George Town, and Penang Island offers plenty of activities. I highly recommend this experience, 100%!

I had the best two weeks at HOJ. All the volunteers were amazing and we quickly became a family. It's so easy to meet people in this hostel and the hostel itself is in an amazing location and always clean. I would recommend this place to everyone who likes being social and is outgoing⭐️If you're looking for a place that's quiet and don't really want to socialise, this place is not for you, but if you are then you'll have the best time here!

The Hostel was very social and very well located. Closed to the best restaurants and the famous street art in George Town. The host was flexible, I could change my dates and shifts when I needed. The volunteer team vibe was amazing, I felt at home 😊✨
